Hard crashing PC locks up

Having hard freezes at the game launch at loading screen all the time.
This is crazy.

Nvidia 4070 SUPER
Ryzen 5 5600X
16GB ram

Playing on Vulkan

Windows 11 24H2

Launching the game less and less frequently because of this issue

I appreciate this thread so much. I updated to Win11 (dragged my feet) and bought a new pair of 32gig RAM and was worried my motherboard was freezing up because of the RAM upgrade.

My freezes are always POE on zone change, but I figured it was because of the RAM, not POE.

Appreciate it guys, keep up the good work.

I find it shameful that a company that has sold the number of copies that POE2 has sold has not resolved this issue or at least communicated with users to explain the situation.

I understand that this is an EA, but I truly believed that GGG would be more transparent. Instead, I see that it's just another company that, once they have your money, you are no longer important.

I'm done. I requested a refund in Steam, despite the fact that 180 hours have been played, let's see what happens.

Just so you all know they are aware of this issue https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3594260 but they clearly have no idea how to fix it since we're almost 2 months in. For me the crashing started after updating to 24h2, a week after poe released but before that i was having a blast, addicted of non stop gaming. Unfortunately they have always been aware of this issue the moment it happaned, now the people affected by it has doubled maybe quadrupled at this point with 400+ pages in this thread. It's sad but I might just request for a refund and use the free key they gave me
