Received an email "Confirm account connection" an hour ago...
The URL goes to " Resource Not Found The resource you are looking for does not exist or has been removed." :( |

Download from where? I would totally do that if I had a client and it didn't default to Epic login.

" problem with this is you need to already have a verified email, AND have already set up a password associated with that email for the standalone client... if you don't already have this you'll need to guess what: verify email this is where I'm at right now. Its a toss up whether I'll download 86 gigs on steam before GGG gets emails working again. I'm also not 100% sure I wont need standalone password even when I have it downloaded on steam. We shall see. it is a different client than POE1 (which does not need a standalone password when you login with steam. Either way this is annoying af for sure and I expect GGG is working on it furiously. In the mean time if we could just get some more "worst day of my life" posts I can clown on that'd be great to pass the time. Back in the good old days when people had dignity and shame we would have said "act like yah been there". Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4. If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years.
