Can't properly pick up / interact with items

unearth prioritizes corpses over loot
this is understandable for game play purposes
makes it difficult to pick up items, i have to resurrect using unearth every nearby corpse first to then be able to pick up items
but we need a workaround
for example, the ability to bind "pick up item" to "alt- left mouse" or similar
suggested resolutions to date ineffective

I'm having the same issue. It's really difficult to pick items up even if they're highlighted. The bind key doesn't seem to be working at all for me, so gotta use the mouse click.

+1 when there is a corps it get focus BUG. loot should always go first.

Holding ALT + Left click worked for me!

I'm getting the same problem and I've tried every solution I could find but none of them seem to work for me, I can't pick up items even when I have no skill on my left click, but maybe what I'm experiencing is a different problem.

Same problem here, I changed to skill on click to another one and now it works. So it seems bugged and with some skills it won't loot well.
I was ignoring most of the loot because it was working so bad, now the game got a lot better just by getting rid of this bug. I hope that they fixed it so that it won't matter the selected skill.

+1 on this with Unearth.
Also happens on the Volatile Dead skill on the wand.

This was the culprit, at least for me. Changing the setting to disabled fixed it.
