POE 2 Buffer Underflow

Hey Guys,

I experienced the same bug as everyone else here in the forum. I wanted to go back to Jungle Ruins to change the Venom Vials, but got stuck in the Buffer Bug.
Neither verifying the game files nor reinstalling helped me.

However, I logged into Steam on a different PC and tried it there. It worked! I was able to log in on the other PC, use the Waystone to return to my Hideout, and now my character is playable again on my main PC.

If you're still having trouble accessing your main character, maybe give this a try.

Just parroting everyone else but just encounterd this myself.

Hidden Grotto map.

One side of the map was working fine, trying to go to the other from multiple directions triggered the error. Couldn't finish my map because all the rares were there.

Unlike story act zones, maps kicks you out if you dc so I wasn't locked out.

+1 jungle ruines akt 6

I'm getting it in the crypt map, it's actually the first crash like this I've bad in 100 hours of play. Now I can't complete the map :(

Rip my character it seems, just got it on jungle ruins.
Tried restarting, reinstalling, different graphic settings.

Bump. This is still happening in Jungle ruins area. I haven't experienced it anyone else.

I got the same thing in Steppe. Crashed on desktop after msg popped up, re-entered the map and same thing happened again.

same here multiple times per day "buffer overflow" errors especially if I let the game afk or minimized for 10+mins

Same here... Jungle Ruins Act3. Infinite "Buff Underflow" bug.

SPECS

CPU: i7 7700k
GPU: RX 6600
RAM: 16GB DDR4@2400MHz
OS: Win10 22H2 (installed on dec/18th/2024)

All drivers updated; tried DX12 and Vulkan; tried FSR/NIS/Bilinear; tried shader cache clearing - none worked.

Any hopes?

After one hour I've managed to get back on the character within a new Jungle Ruins instance. Maybe just avoid the apes area altogether from now on...

Same here Act ''6'' in jungles. I was alt tabbing/ had another minimized window playing when tabbed back got crash . I guess ill make new char, 1st crash I encounter in 60 or so hours.
