War banner not working with crossbows

It states that it works with attack skills, but I don't generate any valour when killing enemies with skills like:
Armour Piercing Rounds Any grenades Basic bolts Since it states that any attack skill should work with it and i got it as a recommended skill i guess that it does not work as intended Bug Report ID: #3902746243 Last bumped on Dec 13, 2024, 5:20:03 PM

This is a non issue,
Missed that you have to right click on the icon in the skill tab to activate the buff. This was not clear to me that you have to do this with buff skills. |

How do you activate it with a controller, it does not mention it anywhere and I am not able to make it work.

I have it activated on the skills tab, btw, it just doesn't do anything. I don't see me gaining valour nor does it activate in any way.

I'm having the same problem with my merc, it's activated and it doesnt do anything. Waste of a gem

I picked up this skill as it was highly recommended and was disappointed to find it not working with my Merc's crossbow. Then I did some digging in the menus and realized you must not only activate with spirit but you must add the skill War Banner to your hotbars! Once I did this I saw myself getting Valour with all ammo types and I could activate for the buff. Hope this helps anyone else who couldn't figure it out.

Merc Here.
i can activate war banner, but im unable to drag it to my hotbar in the same way i can with other skills. I do not see any accumulation of valor or have any idea "how to consume it". Broken? |

Exact same problem, I can activate it but can't actually put it on skill bar.

" Had the same problem. You have to left click a skill in the hotbar and then the game lets you change it. This is the only way I could get the banner skill into my hotbar and use it. Now it works perfectly for me. |
