POE2 - Crash to desktop after 30-40 minutes (Maybe solved)

Issue is still present, About 30 minute into gameplay i get KERNELBASE.dll error that crashes my game.
Tried with the 2 latest nvidia drivers. Other than that the game runs perfect. |

I THINK I HAVE FIX.
I played 30 hours without crash but noticed i wasnt getting max FPS. I turned down my settings slightly because i personally like lots of frames. Started getting crashing every 30 to 60 minutes and thought it was the latest patch or something. I used nvidia's driver manager to reset POE 2 back to recommended settings. played for 2+ hours without crashing. if you changed graphics settings for whatever reason try resetting them with nvidia driver manager client EDIT: Not sure if settings reset helped but I crashed once over the course of 6 hours. I then went to Act 3 cruel to finish a boss i missed and crashed twice in 15 minutes. After thinking about it ~95% of my crashes were in act 3 cruel. PC/game keeps still crashing Recommendation to stop playing until fix, or play without multithread under 30fps. Otherwise u will damange your system permanently |

my solution was to disable global c-state in bios. Never had a crash again

I found a solution for me!
I just set 2 things that made it stable for me: 1. goto your game files and locate the 2 different .exes 2. set bott of them to comp mode 'Win 8' and both of them to 'Run as Admin' Just had 2 hours of gameplay without a crash or even coming close to 100% CPU load So just in case you have tried everything to make it run, this is another "solution" Just for clarification: My Rig: Ryzen 7800X3D 64 GB DDR5 RAM RTX 3080Ti Last edited by DrDrax#3022 on Dec 22, 2024, 10:01:31 AM

Out of curiosity. What temps are you getting with your 7800x3D? This game regularly pushing my cpu to 80C which doesnt really ever happen with other games. Might be a incorrectly installed heatsink on my side?
