PoE2: "Failed to connect to instance"

Changing servers helped me as well.

Got this problem since last night, whenever I open a portal to go back to my hideout then it logged me out and the error message pops out. I'm able to login back after I changed servers, but once I open up and enter my portal to hideout then it failed to load instance again. I thought my hideout is bugged so I changed my hideout but still the same problem. Almost 3700 hours on POE 1 and 700 hours on POE 2 not once I got this kind of problem. Any fixes to this yet? It's really annoying I have to change servers every single time.

Still occurring in 0.3.0 which means GGG hasn't fixed squat...

The game is literally unplayable right now. Maybe next league, GGG will prioritize people being able to play their game instead of nerfs less than a day before launch. Just a wacky idea. Also, what a great time for a free weekend...

I was able to find a fix for this for those on Xbox

-hit the home button
-go to my games and app
-go to POE2
-press start button over it to get to manage games and add one
-go to saved data.
-Delete data for your Xbox gamer tag.
-restart game

Worked for me

I have the same problem, just create a new instance with ctrl
+ click resolve the problem for me.

Just had this happen in the Infested Barrens sprinting into that little cave with the rare mob. Tried switching servers but still couldn't load in as that character.

I am on standalone client, had the bug, waited 15+ min and that did not work. I found the packcheck.exe, ran that and it did work. I logged in to the bugged character at a checkpoint, with the same map explored too after 20+ min

entering character with by pressing CTRL + Click really helps!
it says that u'll be logged in inside your hideout but it works!

I got this problem, while I played in lategame, when I tried to go to a map with a waysyone, so I cant even enter the game with my character, bc of this problem.
