Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

"
I made a post about this earlier on this whole Thread, I am still having issues like everyone else but I still can not solve why this works and then goes back to stuttering. CAN SOME ONE PLEASE TRY WHAT I AM ABOUT TO EXPLAIN AND THEN EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THIS WORKS FOR A LITTLE AND GOES BACK TO S***

Go To Speedtest.net and run a test while the suttering is happening...

You will notice that the stuttering goes away 100$ WHILE THE TEST IS RUNNING!

Then when its finished it goes back to the issue that were all having.

I am not smart enough to know why this works but this might help explain something to some one with a really big brain and maybe we can get to the bottom of this.

I will check back in a few and see if anyone can confirm this.

Make sure to be in game during the spikes and run the test as explained up top and help us

GGG WTF ARE YOU DOING....

That's because the server route inside of speedtest.net hits only your ISP and routes to you. When you're on the client your routing to the ISP then to the GGG servers.
hes saying the ingame problems vanish WHILE hes running speedtest, i think.

i dont get how that could be a thing but i'm pretty sure that's what hes saying.
pls bring back predictive mode. its unplayable right now. i can play other online competitive games without any problem but poe2 is a pain due to the lag issue.

anyone pls fixs this, so unplayable.
I'm on PS5. I got disconnected from the server twice while half way doing Atlas.

The lag is getting very bad.
This might just be related to the chat message bug, at least some users here might potentially have this as a fix, I am quoting my own message from an other thread:

"
basically any new messages sent by other players causes these stutters consistently. Just turning off "Show Global Chat" or "Show Trade Chat", has no effect, it only hides the chat for me, but players messages still pass through and causes the same stutters.

Only reliable suggestion is to manually go to a dead channel, for example /global 999, or /trade 999 fixes the stutters completely as there are no players in these channels and hence no messages.

This is extremely bad, as it forces players away from social interaction, and if they aren't aware of this, it causes an underwhelming combat experience with the stutters. Worse is, this probably also occurs with other chats like whispers, parties, and guild chat.
Unfortunately have just been hit with this latency lag. Has been happening the last 72 hours.
Indeed game worked better with previous patch. Now the lag is not matter of GPU but game codex. I use GTX1660 super.

Had the same issue. 160+ Ping all the time since few days.

After i cleared the Shader Cache at "%APPDATA%/Path of Exile 2" the ping was fine again. Im back to 12ms now. Idk maybe just luck but give it a try :)

This worked for me thanks!

Boo went back to crap lag going on 4 days, game was fine 4 days ago other games run fine I reinstalled POE2 and that didn't help gonna try and roll back my graphic card see if that fixes it im stumped and have already died and lost xp to lag hard to play when your rubber banding all over the place.

There is nothing better then investing hundreads of hours of playtime to suddenly start wasting your precious resources to CONTINOUS AND UNSTOPPABLE LAGGING at random time.

What a waste of life playing this sh*t. Great job poe2 team, I'm done.
