the problem of merging two accounts

So I am not the only one having this issue...
My first account (EdgeFayth#1085) got the Twitch drops, and my second one (EdgeFayth#9213) the PoE2 EA... Quite useless! A real, full merge option should exist.

You should be able to swap between both subaccounts, on the website and IG.
In that case, you can launch the game and switch subaccounts In Game (same as on the website) to select the one with all your microtransactions/coins and play from there.

Hope it will work for you, otherwise need to wait like most of us, and with their email system bugged/full. (4days+ and still waiting for myself for an unlink basic feature...)

If you already started a character on the wrong account, I suggest you to go to the one with your cosmetics and reroll directly.
Not sure the support will help you to transfer any cosmetics or characters for one account to the other and even if they do, it will take a long time as they are flooded by requests now..
By the time you got an answer, you would already level a new character.

Also to help you, you can ask someone to help to transfer your stuff from your first character to the new one.. at least it will make it easier and faster to progress.

Same issue here, I had made an account for POE1 on steam and completely forgot about it. Come POE2 launch for Early Access I made an account did the twitch drops and I'm completely unable to access them and it's a shame as I'd really like to use them. Whats the point of merging accounts if it doesn't actually merge anything? Just so I can swap between them when I have no reason to care to do so? Seems pointless to me, Merging should ACTUALLY merge the accounts. I understand if they have to specify "THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE EVER DO NOT ASK" etc. I'm fine with that.

I have a similar problem where I merged my X box account with my PC one and now my early access credits are stuck on the account that I don't play, there are also some conflicts between the accounts as well when I tried to use the credit on the account to buy guild storage all kind of errors popped up. I contacted support about this issue before Christmas they replied and requested information then crickets ever since. It's annoying as I thought the accounts would be merged as was stated not create two separate accounts and cause internal game conflicts.
