Have you played the game before? All the items you have are unidentified and your inventory is usually full.

Also it's not intentional because it works sometimes to portal out of the last room then go back, I did it immediately before the run that got bugged.

Also it gives you a portal that is literally bugged.

Just had this happen to me as well, hadn't opened any of the chests or bought relics, at least I'd chosen ascendancy. I was excited for some potentially useful loot because I'm running garbage at the moment :(

Same here... very frustrating.

For those who have killed the boss and cannot go back through your portal, you have to talk to the NPC at the altar to get another coin, you do not have to farm for the coin. Just pop it in and your urn will still be in there (if you have one) then redo the trial.

Was storing loot by stash after beating the two giants, took the portal next to stash cause I wasn't really thinking, and was left with no way back in. Why would they put an exit there to trick you?

Yup. Same. Damn. Issue. Unacceptable.

Either prevent portaling out or let us come back without penalty. Unreal. So much time wasted.

It just happened to me when I should have got my 4th ascendency!!!
How have they not addressed this huge issue yet??

For a player to invest all this time in ending up with heartache is a horrible experience!!

did 1 run for twins, coin didnt drop
can it actually drop? do i need to farm twins, or it can be dropped in act 3?

hmmm... keys? i just lost my two point to ascend. i m a trigger happy idiot but yeah a warning would be nice :(
