POE2 isn't "Hard." It's unfun.
Speak for yourself, POE1 is unfun because combat is bad everything feels and looks the same mechanically. POE2 is the most fun from a game I had since Baldurs Gate 3. Some of the bigger maps need a bit of tuning for sure to make it less big or make it more interesting. Act 1 is well done though, except some of the bosses are too easy.

" How would u even know? You have done nothing in poe1. [Removed by Support]
Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” |

" This. I'm getting swarmed and jumped and dancing around killing these huge packs of monsters for... A scroll of wisdow? a single gold peice? I know its low level but COME ON. Give some regular armor to equip at least, jeez. The fights are tedious and there is no payoff. |

" Well, that sucks. I'm absolutely LOVING every minute of this game and for me, it provides me with everything I could want. Enjoy POE1 big dawg. I got the sauce.

I also disagree. Except the loading screen crashes that force me to restart my whole PC and the occasional monster herds that block you to death without any countermechanic i think the game is pretty nice.
- Mini bosses in Act 1 were underwhelming. Even the count took me only 4 tries at lvl 16. - I play monk. I dont use just one skill, i have 7 and depending on the situation every skill is useful. Combining them feels rewarding - I dont use any build guides, i went in blind and i love it! There is quite a bit to experiment with the support skill combinations and they can make a difference. - Didnt play PoE1, just the beginning and than quit because i felt the controls were very slacky and it just didnt feel right for me but in PoE2 it feels very good. Tried mouse and keyboard, switched to WASD and having a blast. - What i dont like is for example in the counts manor, some elite mobs together with normal mobs take so long to kill compared to mini bosses before that. Either make the normal mobs feel more like normal mobs or buff the mini bosses, its EA so obviously its not perfectly balanced yet. - Also i think re-rolling passive skill tree should be cheap as hell so you can experiment more. It should be rewarding to try building differently a lot. I personally wont be having a lot of time to grind new characters if i make a bad build because i choose not to use guides. I think that should be a thing. - being patient, dodging, learning mechanics is important and i love it. Overall Act 1 was was somewhat challenging at some parts but i saw streamers that struggled with higher lvls at the count so maybe the class played a role here too, havent tried anything else yet so i cannot compare. - Some people seem to expect some ADHD Diablo 4 loot dropping. I always hated that overflow of items...More time spent on managing your inventory than actually playing the game and in PoE2 i actually play the game 99% of the time, thats refreshing + the possibility to reroll equip in the way it is is also very nice. I m not sure if that changes later but easier access to augmentations would be nice Do not make this easier because some people are too lazy to learn mechanics and put some effort into the game and expect some Moonlighter dungeon crawling experience. The direction is right, i m still just lvl 18 now so lets see how it is further down the road :D to OP: i cant believe that you really really tried every class and respecd and stuff and still couldnt do the count with any of them...this rather sounds like a skill issue to me. No offense but as i said i didnt play PoE1 for mentioned reason and i did the count in 4 tries. I think you didnt take the proper time to experiment with any class enough to actually understand the synergies of your skills. I m no expert at Monk and as i said i didnt use any guides because everytime i do i just lose interest in games very quickly and actually reading the skills, rearranging support skills, rerolling for better equip, having a plan what i want like knowing some more movement speed is beneficial, lets roll for that or focusing on my eyes skills with empathy to freezing. I can freeze the count, how awesome is that! I also do not play challenging ARPGs every day, i did play Dark Souls quite a bit, Lost Ark, D2-D4 but i think with some effort the content is menagable. Stay calm and analyze your mistakes and i m sure you ll endure. It feels great to get somthing challenging done when you have ADHD like me but not feeling overwhelmed with equipment. While equip plays an important role here, knowing the mechanics is more important and i feel like this game balances that out pretty well most of the time so far. Getting my dopamine with ADHD and keeping me interested is really hard but PoE2 does a good job at that for me |

" It gives you battle experience. With every situation like this you learn how to control it better and thats worth way more than any equip. I just know not to dodge into walls and that i have to use the environment to my advantage. For example i play monk and i have my ice bomb for blocking and doging backwards. I use that a lot to block projectiles that normally would hit me but i also use it in narrow pathways to block groups of mobs to swarm me and than freeze them. I love how you can approach this strategically and it just makes sense instead of what D4 is doing with just rolling through nightmare dungeons smashing buttons... |

Was going to buy a new supporters pack because settlers of kalguur was so good. But will not buy one unless I can guarantee the funds only go to PoE1. PoE 2 is not my kind of game if the balance is going to stay this way :(
