Who tf ask for a diablo 4 knock off??? POE 2 Is not POE anymore.

This has to be the most disappointing day as a decades long poe fan. gosh i've had my rants about nerfs and stupid design decision in POE 1 over the years but this is so bad I will continue to play POE 1 until they stop updating it.

1. the moving and attacking is just awful, feel like I'm lagging and dont have full control of my character and unable to respond to abilities on the go.

2. Removal of attack while standing still, now I am forced to hold down shift to attack standing still. even diablo 4 has an toggle option.

3. The roll LMAOOOOO fk its bad. being body blocked and unable to roll is just awful game design. im only 22 so maybe i can get flame dash at a higher level cos this is by far the worst design change.

4. where are my heralds? and auras? seems I have to use mace to get "spirit" to get auras?

5. getting stunned constantly??? and unable to roll out? or have my attack canceled?

6. why is my gem upgrade progression tied to RNG?? why did u remove the ability to buy support gems or level up your own gems?

7. The skill gem are all just awful. with terrible upgrades, i have to use other skills to get the support gem to then use on my skill of choice.

8. very little to no synergy to skills, and the wide range of customization from POE 1 gone. massive step backwards.

9. Everytime i die my entire map resets? i thought it was just bosses u only get 1 shot. wtf is up with this??

10. After all these years. The classes are utterly imbalanced. Especially at early levels.

11. Where is the sense of progression? my character dont feel like its getting stronger, it just gets more and more tedious to play.

Seriously I thought diable 4 was utter garbage and I have more fun with that pile of money grab than this.

About point 2: press G, then click on the arrow to the right from dps number of your skill - you will find the option "Always attack without moving".

Honestly, you make it sound far worse than my Diablo 4 experience. Which is...quite interesting.

Or maybe I am saying that just to get the locals united against their favourite target. I do like to see people get along, and a common enemy remains one of the best ways of making that happen. :)

Either way, I am certainly not regretting giving my PoE2 steam key to a friend of a friend. And that 40 dollar EA price tag for PoE2 on the psn sure doesn't trigger any sort of wallet-tapping FOMO right now.

Otoh the poe2 sub seems full of happy campers so eh, who knows.

Between D4's expansion feeling a bit half cooked and PoE2 dividing fans with its Soulsy/Hades vibe, this seems like a bit of a down period for ARPGs in general.

Or maybe this is just how the genre evolves.

Oh look another person that just doesnt know how to play and refuses to learn. You try to play PoE2 like you played PoE1, thats your problem.

I like it, personally. Feels a bit like Lost Ark, which I enjoyed. But Lost Ark as more of an Arpg which people wanted.

Its also diffeent from PoE 1. Ive been burnt out of the spreadsheet simulator PoE 1 has been for awhile. Theres some actual gameplay in PoE 2.

I will say I dunno how much I can slog through these acts every league, though.

This game is far from Diablo but pop off sis I guess LOL

Point 5 : PoE 1, it always seems that unless you have defences against it. You are always either, Frozen, Chilled, Shocked, Ignited, Sapped, Brittle, Scorched, Poisoned or Bleeding. I think the current Necro settlers league makes them even more noticeable.

Seems like all the get guud haters came out for this launch, the kind of people you usually see on souls boards. Right now streamers are playing it because of so many viewers. But deep inside the are dying and want to play poe 1. This game is garbage.
