Trials of ascendency are now worse POE2

Getting tree Sekhema trials done in succession for my third set of ascendancy nodes is almost impossible as melee. I get hit by one big hit and I lose like 400 honour. It's ridiculously overtuned. The Trial of Chaos isn't much better because some of the modifiers you have to pick are just so extremely oppressive that they have a solid chance of bricking your attempt.

Absolutely horribly balanced and because of that it feels like massive step back from PoE1 Lab.



they NEED to change this new trials of ascendancy or else they will lose a lot of players....I feel like most players were already avoiding these 2 leagues mechanics because they were broken and not even fun ... IMO remove that don't even try to make it better remove that plz... its straight bad decision they took there
Increase difficulty in POE 2, copy past the mechanic that require dedicated character as the new ascendency trial :)

I thought it couldn't be possible to do worse than the Labyrinth that I hate, but replacing it with 2 of the worst mechanics of the game made it possible. Congratulations.

Minions are so strong later on that I'd be suprised if we don't see skeletal arsonists get nerfed into the ground soon. They just suck with out gear early on. They need gem levels from gear, once you have that you achieve easy mode as long as you can keep yourself alive.
Agreed. Locking core character attributes behind garbage league mechanics that they player has literally no ability to plan around (yay random forced choices) is such a stupid design. It'd be one thing if you're in/out in 2-3 minutes, but that's not been my experience at all and quite frankly knowing I'm going to fail because I got locked behind some BS combination of debuffs that I have no way to play for or avoid just kills any desire to progress a character.

I suspect for a large pool of players right now, they'll just have to accept that they'll never get points 5-8, and that's just really sad to think about...

Makes me dislike poe2. I never do trial master or sanctum in poe. Now it's mandatory and even harder. RIP poe2 for me. Sucks man. Really wanted to like this new game. It's just a worse version of the same game.

This is really trolling from GGG! We take the worst content of league (Sanctume) which is intended for very specific builds, and we make it a mandatory test to earn your ascendancy points!

And again, I found the very first act 2 test rather easy, I had "good hope" Here I am level 55, to do my third ascendancy passage, what was my surprise once at the second level of sanctume !!!! U JOKE?!!!

I didn't like labyrinth, it was a purge, but next to that it's the holidays!


Seriously the game is already starting to tire me out, GGG always trying to stop the "good players", but it won't stop them for even 5 minutes xD
Ascension as it stands right now, is the worst experience I've had in gaming.


It's an unfun anxiety riddled nightmare, compounded into repeating the same nightmare scenario over and over and over again.

I've been gaming for 30 years, I've went through a lot of bad times and simply pushed through but when I think about ascension, I don't even want to play it.

If the power spike wasn't so absurd, I wouldn't even bother with it.
