act two traitor passage bugged

Was not in a group. Quest says go to traitor's passage, but travel point is not there on desert map. Completely unable to continue campaign on Cruel.

Is the entire character just permanently bricked?

Seems like this one should be pretty high priority.

Update with more information. After I killed the boss and returned to camp, I executed a trade (and so was briefly in a party, unsure if relevant) and logged off for the night. Logged in the following day and spoke with Risu and Asala in the camp. The text of the quest advanced, but I cannot go to the Traitor's passage.

Please provide a command line or something to reset quests to an earlier state if they can lock up like this.

Traveling to another area on the map via the desert map or the waypoints did not solve. Logging out and logging back in did not solve. Unaware of additional troubleshooting options.

Same. I cannot progress the quest. I think I know how I created the problem. In Cruel difficulty, I killed Balbala but did not have the quest "Ascent to Power." I believe I received a level 52 Djinn Barya, but it stated that it could not be used to receive more Ascendency Points.

Please help.

I finally looted a Barya that allowed me to run the higher level trial. I played through Act 3 Cruel and at level 64, I got it. I don't know if the most recent patch fixed it.
