I noticed from the skill tree you haven't taken minion damage and some minion life nodes that I have chosen. How much minion life and dps do you think is necessary? I have 447 spirit and using all of it right now with 10 arsonists, 1 sniper, 1 cleric and opted for Grim Feast with the leftover. I just turned lvl 80 and do not have the 4th ascendancy yet. On quest for T9 maps.

Shield 1711 (3422 with full Grim Feast)

Mana 1549
Spirit 447

Minions deal 372% increased damage
270% max life (7663 life)

Am I going overboard? This is my first time playing PoE.


going overboard is peak gameplay you have to do in path of exile, this game is unforgiving and ruthless, thats super solid probably have to focus on defense but other than that, thats super golden

I was mainly focusing on minion damage/max health (as some scales on max health) until about T8 in maps, at this point I started looking at where you had gone in your skill tree as I needed to take some hits.. man does it smooth out game play.

Minions are still somehow destroying everything and I feel like I can tank a few hits. Sometimes I still get a little blasted and die out of nowhere but that's maps for you. As of writing this I have cleared the quests for T15, attempted the Iron Citadel... and am at Total Deaths 92.

My question is where do I go after level 87? There are a few max energy skills I can get a good node in 2-3 levels, but lets face reality, levels are about to drop off. Looking to maximize my points. I've essentially mimicked what you have on your screenshot even down to the anointed skill.

What are your thoughts?

Edit: I've gone all the way up to Lord of Horrors and down the Left Hand.


yeah just keep focusing on upgrading gear to maximize defenses & more minion damage propbably grind a few more lvls to 90+

I just finished the 4th asc.

I'm sitting at:

Life: 1281/2563
ES: 2900
Mana: 2018
Spirit: 508
Armor: 53%
All resists capped, except chaos is 38%
I have +7 to minion skills total

I have 13 arsonists, 2 skele wars, 2 clerics, and my doggo

Should I go for Adamant Recovery or Enhanced Barrier or .. Melding?

I do notice my Energy Recharge is super slow.. Not sure if those nodes are worth it though.

EDIT: Also curious what we would 5 socket for supports first/second priority

I am using this build having nearly quit twice.

This build is a dream - thank you for posting it. Be really good to see a development guide in steps of 10 levels so people can see what do get with their gems etc - but it’s just great fun.

Highly highly recommended.


What you mean? There's no PoB, I don't see anywhere where it shows leveling steps in sets of 10 levels or any gear progression, just the endgame version...

Stuck in act 2, not enjoying PoE2 at all so far.
Also, what is a good 5th support for the Infernal Hound? Been mulling over my options, but what is everyone's thoughts on this?
What do I level up with my spirit gems and also what skill should I have on my sceptre and wand?
I really like to play this build, having a lot of fun, thx for this!

Also, i did add Corpse explosion to the build which helps a lot for map clear speed and also procs some raging spirits!
