Please give console players an in game trade board.

Trade board was much easier than having to meet someone in game to trade.

hello, im new in poe. Yesterday found out theres trade stash tabs and npc in game has currency exchange. All this is anavailable for console players? can someone answer please? im on ps5

and can someone explain is there any way to trade other players beside personal messages?
and what if i buy premium tab for trade on ps5? will it work?? i dont understand

This one is tricky. I often find console players are not proficient traders when I meet them in-game. Their stash is frequently disorganized and always have issues finding the item. I get the "hold on a sec" too often. When selling stuff to them they input inaccurate currency counts and often accidentally cancel the trade. It just seems like there is a lot of friction for console players. Some players I can tell know what they're doing but too often its the opposite.

You will get access to the Currency Exchange in Act 4 "Act 1 Cruel" from Finn.

If you purchase a premium tab you can set it to "Public" and put prices on any item you place in the tab for other players to see on the trade site. If it's something they want to buy they will message you.

Yes for those of us that have been using the trade site for years it's easy and great.

But you're looking at it with selfish blinders. It's not about you, someone that is accustomed to it. "MOST" console players do not use or want to use a 2nd device, or an external source outside of the game to trade. Alot of players probably don't even know it's an option.

The "Trade Market" poe1 had on console wasn't "ideal" but it gave console players a means to trade in-game. And it worked"ish" (was a nightmare waiting for people to accept offers.)

I could not agree more.
I have played the game on PC (PoE) and used the trade site and have no problem alt+tab to do so however when I am playing on my PS5 i just don't want to use my phone, laptop, tablet or what device that is not connected to my controller that I have in my hand to do the trades.
This stuff should be in game even on PC it should be in game, every time you have to switch out of the game to do something is just bad.

However,
I think if the PS5 had a decent web browser you could switch to without closing the game session and keyboard mouse support in game for doing the trade it would be better but not optimal and GGG can't implement one of those things unless they build in a browser in the game.

No trading is NOT easy for console, this feels like a blatant excuse to giga glaze ggg.

I would honesly prefer ggg just implement and adjust the frade board from poe 1, as the old saying goes "If it isnt broke, dont fix it".

Needing to come away from the game in order to use an overly complicated trade link that is currently, from what i can see, only accessible from a link is tedious.

Especially when you consider needing to keep it open on your phone and constantly having to come away from the game to check replies and meet up in game.

And this is basically essential since it doesnt count console players as being online.

Im sorry, am i the only one who feels like trade not being implemented is a blatant downgrade from poe1?

And what do you know there is actually a thing in the menu of the game that opens the tradesite in the browser on the PS5. Have not tested if it supports mouse and keyboard.

To say I’m looking through selfish blinders is a joke. Reality is you have to take time to learn something. Reality is I agree with ggg stance on trade. I have seen enough scams and toxic culture on console. You couldn’t go one day without being spammed essences on high valued items.Price fixing was rampant on Poe 1 you had less access to items. You now have access to pc market. I’m not saying there isn’t a solution but reality is it comes through their trade site. No one is talking about a solution you’re just crying for something that will never work. If you want trade board Poe 1 still up and running.

we should be able to kill crossplay and have our CONSOLE trade board.
