Constructive melee feedback (Warrior centric)

Also playing titan, around the same level. I'd be curious to see your setup because 2300 hp seems a bit low for this point. as far as greater jewellers, I started getting these at tier 6 maps.

for reference im running boneshatter/perfect strike/hammer of the gods
Step 1 is to self reflect.

Approaching a pack feels like russian roulette with either me getting a slam off or getting staggered mid-slam and sent out of the map.

Making rolling / leap slam 0.5s faster would alleviate this.

Gained a few upgrades and changed my spec a bit to try and live longer.

Now using titans blood with a shield.

Sitting at 3.1k life and 60+ block. Definitely feels a bit better but I've also been updating the OP as I go for the feedback stuff as I get further along.

I am almost at tier 11 maps, and 0 greater jewellers found so far.

I did ascend my 5th/6th points and will likely do the final 7-8 today which helped with adding 500 more hp.

A lot of the feedback still remains unchanged though

Excellent feedback and exactly my own experience as a Titan!

Thanks, keep fighting the good fight!

I updated the OP with some notes on warrior "travel" skills toward the bottom. These also feel too jank.

Heading into t13 maps soon, assuming I find any. Map mods are getting more sketch.

Updated OP with current char stats.

Yeah I noticed that when I leap slam that ground effects still damage me and projectiles still hit me while my character is visibly far above everything. It is really jarring.
Stampede also quickly turned out to be meh because often you run into a hail of projectiles or simply into a group to get stuck in.

I had to start using sunder to clear packs from a distance even though I don't really like it.

Originally I wanted to focus on supercharged slam (even after the nerf because I think it is cool) but there is no way to increase it's charge speed which makes it very hard to use against packs without taking too much dmg.
Also most rares are recovering so quickly from heavy stun that I can't even get in 3 charges and "big" bosses recover quickly enough that it is hard to get a fully charged slam in. If you upgrade supercharged slams quality it becomes even worse because the charge time becomes even longer... >.>

On the last point about heavy stuns, I noticed that too.

There is VERY LITTLE investment you can make toward Stun Duration on the tree which is odd, given warriors moves are all so slow.

By the time you land a heavy stun, its already over.

I'm having a hard time leveling because the melee experience is so frustrating it keeps making me quit playing. I haven't even made it to maps yet because of all the issues being discussed here.
