POE 2 Lost skill points

Lost 5 skill points while refunding, gold wasn't taken but the skill points have disappeared

I have the same issue lost 2 points so far.
The bug is reproduced when you enter the refund option while having unspent skill points.
After changing couple of nodes and then cancel, my points were missing

I just had this happen to me.. for the same reason.. I went into the respec tool with unspent points, and in addition to the respec, I spent the unspent points, and it took away and LOST the unspent points.

Fortunately, I had a video running, so I caught the whole thing.

upon re-reviewing my video... it did NOT lose my points it turns out..

..it just didn't apply the spec that was in the UI when I clicked apply.

It removed two of the points I had spent, and put them back where they were before (that I had refunded them from)...

Super weird, but the points are not lost. at least not in this case.

I counted points. It adds up. I must have wrongly set up the points during changing tree variants for weapon swap.

Same with me i'm missing 4 skill points after reset my tree

Any fix ?

Two points lost.

I just lost 3 points, didn't respec they were just gone when I was going to set them.
