Minimap/Map Discovery Resets When Using Town Portal

This started around the same time the most recent patch was rolled out.

Whenever you use a town portal in a zone, just to quickly dump bags, no more than a minute or two. When you return back into instance with your town portal the entire minimap/areas you've cleared are gone and it looks like you're starting from scratch.

HOWEVER, it's still the same instance. All the enemies you've killed in the area are dead, the layout is identical, this is not an instance reset. Just your minimap has forgotten what you've explored.

I'm playing on a PS5 with the client using Version 1.007.000 showing 0.1.0b in client.

Yes the same happens to me the exact same thing everytime I teleport....

This also happens when you die. Map is being restarted each time you leave and reenter the same instance. Very annoying.

Same here, was fine earlier today, but now it just started. Seems like there is an issue with the cache or something. Same thing was happening in poe1.

This need to be fix, it might not seem like much in po1. But in poe2, the maps are huge and take a long time to run them. It really is annoying and need to be fix quickly or some players, including myself might stop.

I'm not going to delete the game and download it again for this to happen again in 1-2 days.

Yep also happens to me every damn time I go to town I have to sacrifice the map progress. Its different to what happens when u die because the mobs are dead.

Reinstalling the game fixed this issue for me.

Reinstalling helped me too.

This is a very known bug on console in poe, sad to see it here.

Everytime this start happening you will need to reinstall the game.

Reinstalling the game did end up fixing this for me but I really hope this get resolved cause I would hate to keep doing that anytime this bug pops up.
