How to trade on consoles?

you cannot. a lot of us appear offline on the trade site so we are completley locked out of trading. and not one word about it from ggg.

You can use your phone or laptop. As for Direct whisper, if you can't click, I just found a way. You see on the item you want to buy there two circular arrows, click on them and Direct Whisper will be active for a brief moment. I could sent the whisper to the game, but unfortunately 3 people didn't reply to me, I hope they are just busy :(

I really miss how trading works on console in PoE1. So easy to use and functioned great. Why not port it to PoE2?

I really don't get it. D3 in 2013 got a complete functional auction house, but this game is not even close to get something similar that we can trade inside the game. Terrible design.

i literally do not own a cellphone. i have no use for one. i dont have a tablet and my pc is in another room away from my console. im disabled i cant move from room to room in time. ggg is discriminating against people like me on purpose.

+1. We need accessible trading options on console and better soon or you’ll lose a lot of console players but I don’t think GGG even cares about forum posts because I’ve never seen anyone reply to anything. What a joke

Unfortunately, trading on consoles are going through the Trade website.

If someone find the item you send on trade website, you will get a whisper that they would like to buy the item in the game. Condition is that you are not AFK in the game.

You notice the whisper, you invite the buyer into your party and you TP to them as not all of them are in the same level as you.

Once you TP to their location, you select trade option and voila.

To put items into trade website, you have to purchased premium stash tabs.

Trade website should be embedded into console game UI. Right now its like that unfortunately.

And looking for items in trade website while playing on console, you have either to open your pc/laptop or use your smartphone.
