Added search functionality for Gemcutting and vendor inventories when using a controller. Keybinds for searching Stash on a controller have also been updated.

This actually broke the keybind that allows you to see the stats range on an item while you have opened stash or vendor menu: every time i click on left stick and hold it to see stats range after i release stick a search menu opens.

Auctioneer House - is a MUST!
'POE2' is not 'POE1 2.0'! https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3614313
Now I am way too scared to even play the game. It's just the matter of time before this people will nerf the sh*t out of the build again and again. Like do you even want us to play the game?

It IS economy - overall game economy

But you are talking about trade economy, which is just a part of game economy in the POE2

This is not POE1

Nope, it has nothing to do with the economy. There is no economical point in making the respec expensive. It won't function as a gold sink. Vendors are for that.

Please tell me one reason why respecing can't be 10 times cheaper because I can't think of one.

Another point is that they can balance the respec cost later. It's completely idiotic to try to balance the respec cost now when half of the game will change anyway.

I am sorry, but someone at GGG is making a very stupid decision about something super simple if you think about it for a few minutes. It's obvious they are rushing for no apparent reason.

You don't know what economy is then, sorry

And yes, this IS money sink

It was too ez in POE1 to respec. Again: TOO EASY AND CHEAP.

Now, it is a money sink.
You didn't provide a reason why it should be.

What is the actual problem with cheap respec? Your comments are irrelevant unless you provide some logic. Saying something just because you feel that way is not a good way to design game mechanics. Are we going to start talking about specific reasons, or are we talking about your feelings, little girl?

138 pages of D4 players Crying that an early access game, which was stated to be early access, is making early access development changes, instead of providing feedback without flooding the Nile with tears.

The people in this thread right now

That's awesome :D
I have to choose a new build btw, cause my CoF is nerfed, but im not a D4 brat, so it's not a problem for me to grind another char.

Not, they want you to help them in developement by providing proper feedback

So, after leveling a sorc, you find out that you have a weak defense but on top of that you don't do much damage.

Once you start leveling you notice most of the skills are pretty useless except Frost Bomb and the "cast on" is where you start can do some damage.

Now you have nerfed it to the ground, after wasting all our time trying to finally play a sorc that does damage in exchange of having no good defenses.

Which skills a sorc has now to do the damage? Far more other classes do more damage and have higher defense, yet they are still around. After removing the basic source of damage are you making the sorc more tanky?

Do we have to use our entire mana pool and run out of mana pots and do 20 minutes of boss fights dodging every single skill that can potentially one shot us?

I think it is only fair to ask for a character class change token. That's how I can switch a class and keep my existing level without wasting my time again.

This is nothing more then a slap in the face of the people that support you.
So, I'm a long time PoE Player (12+ years) and while I understand people calling to stop whining, I think the player base complaint is coming from different point that are legitimate :

- The nerf was massive (~95% reduction of proc frequency on trash mob, for a method that was mainly there to clear trash mobs)
- The nerf was sudden ( unless I missed it, unlike the roll change and such, it wasn't talked before, letting people know that it was coming and as such prepare to switch)
- The nerf isn't coming with an easier way for people to respec, making them feel like they have a dead-weight character with no other choice than making a new one
- The following point combined with the fact the Early access asked people to be creative and test thing, may make people feel like they've been punished for doing what was asked for.

That said, and while I understand people telling "it's an Early Access doing EA balance" from a pure comunity management perspective, it will have been more respectfull to tell player "ok this is going to be heavily nerfed in a few days" instead of dropping it out of the blue, especially since it's an EA, having something unbalance for a couple of day (some thing are outerly broken right now, way more powerfull than metagems were, and are still in the game, without real negative effect) than making a bunch of player pissed of.

On a final point, I agree with the fact the nerf was way to heavy, a 3/4 time reduction instead of a 20 time reduction, on trash mob will have be more than enough for a first nerf, if it wasn't enough it would have been possible to nerf it again.

That's usually a better way to nerf things, doing incremental reduction until we reach the sweet balance we are aiming for, instead of nailing it to the ground with a massive hammer to buff it again after, cause at the end you reach the same point, but first option doesn't make a bunch of player feel really bad in the mean time.
