Thanks for the quick patches guys!

Must be a lot of new people to games in general if some nerfs during Early Access in version 0.1 (lol) are going to cause so much raging.

Tbh i took the gem, put elementals status chance with my max damage, and.... It does nothing at all.

So yeah, tell me how it work now, i will try it, but from tests, it dont seem to work at all lol.

Saying "it should worked differently" is fine, but offer a way or a solution ^^


There are ascendancies and classes that offer alot of energy buildup. Cast on X is just not for every class and ascendancy

I just need to point out, in addition to my earlier frustrations.

Elemental invocation, which triggers from _ALL_ elemental ailments is better than Cast on __EFFECT__ by a factor of 20% to 33% now:


Cast on __EFFECT__ || Invocation
10 per freeze per power || 12 per freeze per power
2 per ignite per power || 3 per ignite per power
2 per shock per power || 3 per shock per power


Why is a UNIVERSAL TRIGGER GEM better than those that are specifically dedicated to that effect?

Hello to all developers, thank you for giving us the opportunity to discuss Path of Exile 2. The game is fantastic, and I would like to offer my suggestion regarding the character "RESPEC" system, which currently has a prohibitively high cost, essentially rendering characters unusable if mistakes are made.

Instead of using gold for respeccing, you could introduce a lengthy quest that rewards players with an item to perform the respec. This approach would likely increase player engagement and alleviate complaints about the high cost.

You should modify it again to make it at least playable, it really seem unfair for all the peoples who put hours and hours of cooking and theorycrafting to just dump it down the drain like that, maybe start by reducting initial effectiveness by 25% would have be more balance ?

Yea so I should treat everyone because of money they can spend? Then you would be crybaby because you can't spend a dime in a game :)
So I haven't played in a week because I'm working extra for the season, and I'm pretty happy about it because you folks need to double the drop rate of support gems and halve or quarter the cost of respecing. After this you need to heavily consider free respecs.

And what about people that want to change their ascendancies? The response of "this is what you paid for" is not a smart angle to take.


I appreciate what you folks are doing here. You don't want the game to play itself at the endgame, you want it to be similar to the early game. So do I. I hate seeing the walk through the game and kill everything with no effort style. I understand that you saw the merc nerfs and they weren't really enough, but you have to respect people's time. This is not an invite only beta.

The game is a massive - often murderous - grind early on and you haven't nerfed the enemy damage a bit. If you are willing to make changes this sweeping, there is no excuse: over nerf the early areas and buff them back up if you want to. It's one shot central out there. You're going to nerf gas ignite and the Ranger. Most of us can already see that. And you should, but it needs to come with something good.

I understand the cast on freeze nerf but why a blanket HEAVY nerf to it and the rest of the trigger gems ?

Shock was barely going off and the energy gain for shocking with Cast on shock AND Ele invocation was already little compared to freeze and ignite….

Cast on shock was so meh and shock was so rng heavy that even lightning build switch to cold and freeze build up node and get a Call of the brotherhood just to play Cast on freeze…
