Tried everything and nothing works with my current gear GGg I've been gaming for 25 years and never have I seen such a piss on players. I know this has been said already but my 2 cents is that if they're going to nerf builds into oblivion (cast on freeze), the least they could do is significantly reduce or eliminate the respec cost during early access so people can change their builds without going bankrupt. It doesn't incentivize the behavior I believe GGG wants which is for people to break their game so they can debug and adjust it.

I'm assuming that means leech resistance has been nerfed on monsters, but how much? was anything else changed? |

Look man, i understand that "Cast on ****" needed to be nerfed and i respect that yall have a hard job.... but you basically just bricked sorc and BloodMage into the ground. The cost of respeccing being astronomical on top of that basically makes it to where we cant play with what we were building, and we cant change direction if we didnt already have the necessary gold to afford it, but we cant go grind out the gold because the build got its spine removed.
I get that you had to TRY something.. but this was a bit of an overreaction and a boot up the ass of (arguably) the weakest two classes in the game. Once again i say, i respect yall and i will try my best to keep going on my Blood Witch, but this patch felt like a bigger hammer than it needed to be to some builds. |

COF has 10 maximum energy per 0.1 seconds of base cast time of socketed spells - ok.
Frost bolt base cast time is 0.8s, with COF - 80 maximum energy Cold snap base cast time is 0.5s, with COF - 50 maximum energy Hypothermia base cast time is 0.7s, with COF - 70 maximum energy Comet base cast time is 2s, with COF it should be 200, but it is 300 maximum energy. WTF? What am I missing? |

So there I was, living my best Exile life, slapping monsters and pretending my build was totally fine, when suddenly—BAM! Mana gone. Not "low mana." Not "use a flask." Just... evaporated. Like GGG reached through my screen and whispered, “You thought you could cast spells? That’s cute.”
Does anyone know when the MANA nerf patch is coming to Path of Exile 2? Because apparently, my character got early access. Every skill feels like a luxury, and my mana flask? Basically a Capri Sun—one suck and it’s gone. At this rate, I’m not a mage anymore. I’m just a guy waving a wand around, hoping the mobs die of secondhand embarrassment. Seriously, GGG, what’s next? You nerf my walk speed so I crawl everywhere? You make my stash tabs time-gated? My Exile already spends more time staring at the “Not enough mana” message than killing things. I didn’t sign up for Simulated Poverty of Exile. Anyone else out there barely scraping by on mana fumes, or is it just me and my sad little puddle of blue? Asking for moral support... and maybe some Clarity gems. |

I've spent my time getting my character to a place where it felt really good and I was having a lot of fun, and now it's completely useless. I think it's completely reasonable to complain about that. And what was so abusive about this mechanic? The interaction was relatively simple, the skills did exactly what they said they would do and you didn't have to use any exploits or cheats to achieve it. It was also not that crazily overpowered as other builds can achieve even better clear and boss kill speeds, but if they did want to nerf it, they could have started with a much more reasonable numbers. A 50% nerf could put it in it's place while not completely nuking people's characters. |

Oh, when i'm thinking about it, mind looking about Essence Drain/contagion ? Chaos damage nodes are so few, it's arguably one of the weakest build even with a lot of currency invested rn.
Doing like 90% less damage than all my friends, who already have not on radar builds. Problem is with very low damage limited by DoT speed without a real way to boost DoT or DoT speed, meaning in clear it's "ok", slow but ok, but on bosses it mean you will need 40+ mins of perfectly dodging attacks. Poison being now transmitted by contagion help for clearing (which isn't an issue in the first place, it's already fun and working on clear), but it's still doing negative damages on boss, maybe if we could stack a bit more our DoT/slightly more powerfull DoT would it be fine ? And for those wondering, it's nowhere close to PoE ED Contagion, it's more like 1/10 000 of it because of the lack of multiplicative DoT damage. |
