0.1.0d Hotfix 1

i invested 70 hours playtime and longer thinking about the build. i work a full time job. i was under the impression this is not a beta test, i do not have it in me to risk this happening again. i cant believe they made these skills completely unplayable. there are stronger builds out there yet my build is deleted
Fine, You win GGG. I'm done. I don't give a shit about seeing the end boss anymore. I gave my friends all my maps and currency and I'm done.
What an absolute joke. Wish I could refund my supporter pack, feels bad that my hard earned money went to support these shitty development decisions.
Back to PoE 1 I guess. Over 70h invested in game and I struggle like in act 1
I bet they are just resting on their laurels, because they got more profit and more views and more players than expected, but soon it will be over and guess who's left.

Probably they think they are doing the right thing, killing all the fun just like D4. 'Best for the game' is nobody plays it.

Of course you know better and don't listen to your playerbase. Just make it hard as dark souls, everyone will be fighting whitemobs for 2mins straight for no loot or any reward while rolling to sides not to get oneshotted.
That's a definition on fun. A true success formula.
I play 52lvl Stormweaver in Act 4.I have +7 cold skill gems.

And i need to shoot EoW w/o CoF about 5-7 times to kill usual "white" mobs pack, kiting them. Is it OK for you "balance"?

While I do agree that meta gems need to scale somewhat to avoid abuse of low level gems, I don't think the way to do so is via damage. Scaling meta gems with damage feels extremely difficult to balance for all stages of the game, perhaps instead of scaling via hit damage and ailment threshold, it could be scaled through the active gem level respective to the meta/triggered gem levels?

Also with these drastic changes in the past few days, it would really be nice if we can have cheaper if not complete respecs to passives so as to not discourage players from trying new things. This is early access, and I think you'd also want to see as much test builds player makes as we'd like to make them.
