Ascendancy Trials in POE2 make the game completely unbearable and unfun.

I could not agree more.

Trying to get my last ascendancy points at lvl 88. 88 ffs! Im already farming T15 maps for fragments. Its pretty much the end of the game and my basic character kills are unavailable.

I tried an ultimatum....crashed.

Sanctum - Made it too the second last room of the final trial but got trapped on a VERY narrow right angled staircase and honor bombed. That's almost a full hour wasted.

Back to ultimatum... horrible RNG mods. No chance. Failed.

Why put basic character progression behind a wall like this.... its infuriating.

I have no issue with campaign or boss difficulty but to progress lock characters behind RNG trails is ridiculous.

BRING BACK LAB! Or put ascendancy bosses on the atlas and we hunt them down like citadels.

Level 90 and still not possible to finsih the ascendency ! Unfun game !

If they keep this game mechanism the game will be a disaster ...

This is just pure torture, why add a feature where you cannot get hit and then add melee classes.

I understand its EA but plz gives us some hope that you will be changing this in the near future.

Closing the game for now because I feel like smashing my keyboard because of these bs trial runs...

I uninstalled the same after failing the thrid trial on the final boss due to stupid traps. Then decided to install it back and level my monk further so I can over gear it. Just to fail it again due to a random honour boom from a random fireball trap. FFS, never had a game that got me this frustrated before. This is not fun to experience, putting a wall on character progression that heavily depends on RNG is a very questionable design choice.

Just get rid of the honor system for trials completely!.
Having the ascendancy locked behind 2 of the arguably worst mechanics in poe 1 is stupid.

Give those who like the current trials an option to do them like in poe 1.
so those of us who HATE these mechanics can opt out like we did before with out losing some of the most important stats for our builds!.

The current trials suck even after the supposed tweak to the honor system.
I hate them so much I'm considering quitting Poe 2 as I've been hard locked out of my last ascendancys.

I'm an average player whos old and never gonna be good anymore the current trials are impossible for me especially on a melee build!.

trials are huge middle finger from ggg team to hc or ssf players.
i never ever seen an unfun game mode in my gaming history like this.

1 floor is ok
2 floor is meh
3 floor is feels like unfun
4 floor is literally torture
5 what about the final boss?

It makes me want to delete the game. Because even if I try again, I know that my hours will be wasted again when I get to the last boss. time mechanic sucks, boss damage high if you are not armor build, small room, full of aoe, melee unfriendly... this game mode is torture, i bet they will lose a lot players because of this.

im not against hard contents but this is just a waste of time. literally waste of time because 1 attempt takes hours.

This. Especially since trials are DOUBLY punishing for melee. This is absolute junk and I refuse to engage with it.

Today I failed on the 4th floor. Was it my items? Was it my skill?
No!
I got stuck on some stairs, where monsters then could hit me uninterrupted.

The trials maps have terrible geometry and navigation. You get stuck, you sink into the floor, you can't cross invisible ledges. Knowing GGG this will never be fixed.

I won't try trials again in it's current state. Just no thank you. Respect my time, GGG.

I would like to ask the question about the Trailmaster. So i have 3 Fates and im ready to open the door to fight him. But i just went to bed wanted to beat him tomorrow. BUT ATTENTION! There is no way to get to the door until You beat Ultimatum again just to get there xD. Am i right or im doing something wrong. Thats just stupid.

yeah gotta clear a 75+ ultimatum to get to that door
