Here you go! I just made some changes, too, which are reflected on this maxroll. Swapped in Overcharge on Fireball like I said, and I'm going to give Cast On Shock Lightning Conduit a try now that I have lots of magnitude in the tree and Overcharge on Fireball.

Don't you need that unique Mahux shield for the mana pool ? Or just the unique amulet is enough?

I think every exile adjusts their passive tree to what suits them best, even within a given "build type."

My mana pool is 5.8k without the Mahuxotl's Machination, so I don't feel I need the shield. I tried a Mahu shield earlier on, and found that overall there was a damage decrease across the board. I could try it again now that I've levelled up and geared up, but my guess is that it would still be an overall damage decrease. It would be hard to overcome +2 to spell skills on a focus, in terms of damage. Of course the Mahu's would be a mana increase which boosts Archmage per 100 max mana, but I still don't think it would be better than +2 spell skills focus. I'll check in Path of Building the theoretical changes later.

IIRC we think your issue is not necessarily the maximum size of the mana pool, but the rate of your mana regen. Mahuxotl's wouldn't help with mana regen, I think, because it increases just the effect of socketed soul cores (unless you socket in mana regen runes/cores?)

What really helps my mana regen is Ingenuity belt, imo - because I have a ring with 82% increased mana regen rate, my Ingenuity makes that x1.75 = 143% increased mana regen rate. Plus another 103% increased mana regen rate from Everlasting Gaze. In addition, I have ~ 50% increased mana regen rate on my chestpiece (Expert Keth Raiment) and my focus. The passive skills help too, but I think these are bigger factors.

My fireball tooltip shows around 30+k damage. I dont have issues with clearing, but on boss fights, after 1 combo - curse/frost bomb/frost wall/comet from cos/fireball my mana gets depleted and often the boss does not die and one shots me...

Why do you guys keep upgrading the fireball damage? Dont you need more damage for boss fights on the frostwall or comet? Do you need really those +3 fireball jewels ?
What stat we need to scale for most single target damage - shock, magnitude, spell dmg or ?

What about crit, do you opt for critical chance on the tree, cuz its really hard to get on the gear as well...

I'm mostly farming T18 breaches for loot at this point. More fireball DPS = easier clear in general. I don't really have an issue at pinnacles either, but my mana regen is over 1500/s when standing still and something like 1700/s when moving. I found Frost Bomb too slow for applying exposure, so I actually run Frost Wall with Lightning Exposure and Overcharge (magnitude of shock). I might switch it around to even drop my Fireball DPS and run Overcharge on Fireball for pinnacles.

I don't build crit but others have and it seems to work well for them.

I don't recall my mana getting depleted after a rotation when I was at 4.5k mana, what is your mana regen rate?

I’m with crit chance on passive skill tree and wand, helmet and amulet (not have the everlasting gaze). Have 34% crit chance Spell on frost wall and 22% on Fireball (rank 27) and 308% total crit dmg bonus. 7k mana with Mahuxotl's Machination and 1.5k mana reagen (ingenuity belt bonus with 99% and 81% mana reagen on rings). 68% of shock magnitude. The dps output registered on arbiter t4 in the last boss fight was a bit higher of 15M. So yes crit setup is good.

Not so distant from late endgame stormweaver equip. Only Important is to have a wand with crit chance for Spell above 80%.
