⚠️Full PC crash on loading screens⚠️ - Workaround included

I'm running into this on Intel. I'm going to be doing some heavy work on my machine in the coming days to hopefully prevent it going forward.

I'll be:
- Undervolting everything (i5 13600K, 7900XTX). Maybe even the RAM (64GB-6000 DDR5)
- Reseating the CPU cooler. I noticed that my temps spike really hard during loading screens: as much as 90C!
- Replacing the 750W Platinum SF750 PSU with a Platinum 1000W SF1000 in case there's a transient spike beyond my power budget (I sincerely doubt this is the case, but I'll do it anyways just to rule it out).
- Analyzing air flow within my ITX case, adding 4 fans to the case in a positive pressure configuration. This means a total of 7 fans.

If all else fails, I'll look into the i5 and see if I got hit with the degradation prior to the micro-code fixes going live. May replace it with another 13600K or a 14600K. If I can measure that heat under load is fine in this case and that airflow is well setup, I may go bigger, but I doubt I will.

This game is trying to active melt my components.

CPU Intel 12900HX can hit 103-4C
GPU I have seen reaching as high as 99C

We need better optimization guys.

I want to play but these temps are risking my rig...
I found a temporary solution, go to power options in Windows, in advanced configuration go where it says Processor power management and in maximum processor status set it to 90%.

So far I have not had any crash using Win11 24h2
Have GGG even acknowledged the issue yet? Ive got this issue too and there are dozens of forum posts for this exact same issue yet ive seen nothing from GGG about it.
Considering this issue only started appearing after my refund period ended, Its really a shame companies dont offer exceptions when its a issue like this that is literally experience breaking. Ive had this happen 3 times in one hour...
The full PC lockup for me was only happening when changing floors in Sanctum.

It's now happened twice in a row just entering the game. On the second crash it recovered (i.e. I did not need to reboot my machine) but it turned off my M2 drive, so I'll now have to reboot anyway.

Todays patch notes say nothing about it, but did remove some of my witch minions. Nice priorities.

Update: I moved the game from E: (M2 drive) to C: and now I can log in. It crashes every time I enter a map but it least it doesn't kill my PC. Progress, right?

Bumping for visibility.

Just recently upgraded from a Ryzen 9 3900x | 3080 TI | Windows 10 system (zero issues or crashes) --> Ryzen 7 9800x3d | 3080 TI | Windows 11, now full PC freezing.

Temps are fine for me on full PC freeze. CPU utilization in loading screens spikes to 100% most of the time. I have attempted all the fixes in other threads besides downgrading to a previous windows 11 version, or windows 10.

Hope to see an official fix soon.
Same for me since I updated to Windows 11 24H2.

The same thing here completely frozen, the only solution is to restart from the power button. This is really serious, it doesn't happen to a few people, it's quite a critical error, it should be a priority.
Fix this then continue with the buffs and nerfs.
I turned off multithreading and it worked somewhat for me. The only thing that can happen now is that I get super low FPS. Even tough I have 32gb 6000 mHz RAM 7800 X3D and 4080 super.

Hope they fix this before the holidays because I can't play the game as it's intended and that alone is killing the experience for me.
