Same issue - Steaming Springs. Of course I was running my last T15 map and opened portal after looting boss and unknowingly locked myself in.

Found this thread on google, same issue Steaming Springs map boss locks me out after death, cannot get out.

BUMP. Issue is still happening. Tier 15 Rustbowl. Map isn't completed, but was able to kill the boss and arena locked me in. I tried logging out of the character and logging into another character, but nothing works.

Same just happened in bog. Was able to get out by lightning warp-ing to an enemy outside
