Poisonous Concoction Pathfinder is hitting REALLY HARD - A SMALL GUIDE

Hello. How to upgrade concotion by gemcutter's prism?
Pcoc was my favorite build in poe 1. It's sad that I noticed this build when it was already announced that it would be nerfed :(.

Where was a nerf announced? The only nerf that's coming for sure is that bow damage from quiver won't scale it anymore. But at the same time Concentrated Effect is bugged and doesn't work and you can't add quality so we will get some of the damage back.

I think it's still going to be usable after nerf, just won't one shot Arbiter anymore. Which I think GGG doesn't want any skill to do that.

The OP says Lightning Rod is supported by a Chain support gem; but the game specifically forbids socketing that support gem into that skill (it literally says "Warning: This support can't be socketed into this skill").

Precisely what am I missing?

You know what? While I'm writing this, let me search this thread for any mention of the word "Chain."

Oh.

Look here.

Yep. So, uh, dear OP: would you kindly update the OP? Because from the fact you've already edited it, I assumed incorrectly you were continuing to edit it, and that the OP remained current, and -- again, incorrectly -- that I would not need to search through nine pages of interrogation.

I have previously posted my gratitude! You still have it. But you might have spared me a little unnecessary wasted time before failure compelled me to look a little deeper at your recipe. I'd like to know what you actually ended up using, which I can now see from your subsequent replies was mostly just Stormcaller Arrow.

Was... was that it? Just that? For clearing?

Edit: also at what point precisely are you allowed to pick up an uncut support gem of level 2 that allows engraving Primal Armament because I feel like my infant ass could use that right now. I've searched the thread for that, too, so evidently no one is having any trouble lacking it -- but exactly what were you using before then?

What runes you bois putting in your bows?
This post was sponsored by me.
what venom do you use for this
It got nerfed pretty hard today (about 30%) with the bug fix to quiver damage.
I've played until 80 exclusively with this build since Act 2 Normal.

My opinion: This build is ridiculously expensive for what you ultimately get. A 305% Widowhail is 50+ Divines. I just found my 4th Divine ever, so that's out of the question. I think this is a great leveling build though, and if you invest a little, a solid early mapping build.

Then Don't buy a max roll Widowhail, buy a 290% bow for 4 Div. A those 15% don't even really hit any breakpoints for +proj. lvl, so they are pretty useless.
If you look at the really high end gear, like perfekt rolls, then every build is expensive af.

If you just want to kill bosses in T15, you don't even need a corrupted Widowhail. I only upgraded from ~220% bc I didn't want to interact with boss mechanics. With enough ES, Ghost Dance and Evasion/Acrobatics our defenses aren't even that bad. Other builds are doing Endgame with less damage.

Crit pconc 17% crit and 470 crit damage
