The death penalty is insane

Who made this decision to have six doors just for selling items is "genius".
And it is just dumb for every death to lose a lot of experience.

I am speechless if this is GGG's last move to increase play time and online player numbers.

+1 remove xp penalty on death, a death at lvl 88 currently costs me about 15-30 min of playtime aka LIFETIME, i stopped leveling because its just a timewaste
The devs clear intention is for players to only attempt content they are 100% confident of clearing.

If you want to attempt challenges to try to overcome the odds, apparently this isn't the game for that.
yes it is and if you get lvl 90+ one dead is a whole day gone

its just plain stupid imo

Thought they removed the penalty but sadly they punish their customers with a extra punishment with map gone to on dead

thanx GGG

are u sure about this? Its horrible...
-10% exp AND only 1 port?! U jokin' right? Do U want all to drop the game?
Stop playing PoE 2 the same way as PoE 1, it won't work.

Your playstyle matters here. Don't rush, don't skip, build your defenses and learn the game.
PoE 1 was essentially a build-management game played by 60% in POB and spreadsheets. You made a 1 button build and then you rushed and ignored the rest. I AM HAPPY THIS ISN'T POE 2.

If this doesn't suit you, feel free to go back to zoom zoom in PoE 1.

We aren't asking for this to be POE. We're asking to have our time respected.

What you're saying is don't do challenging content where you might die, keep to easy stuff you can farm. Call me crazy, but I like to take chances and face bosses that might kill me. Makes the victories that much sweeter.

But that's a decision every player makes. Everyone has their priorities. Is you priority to reach level 100? If so, play easier content where you don't die. Is your priority to do challenging content? If so, play challenging maps and expect to die from time to time.

I myself for example in PoE 1, when I saw I did not make any progress in leveling, I switched to easier maps until I leveled up. Then directly after the level up I tried some uber pinnacle bosses. After that I went back to leveling until I reached 100.

Every player makes their own decision on how hard of a map they open. This is 100% in the players hand and has absolutely nothing to do with GGG. Why keep people asking GGG to fix the players bad decision making?

Small agree but it still needs to be changed. 1 chance for a citadel boss with oneshot mechanics, which takes hundreds of maps to find? It's just dumb. They're pushing the soulslike angle but that's not how a soulslike work. That's how poe1 ubers worked at ultra late game SSF, else you just buy the splinters rather than farm all that nonsense for hours and hours, and you still got multiple tries.
