Path of Exile 2: Upcoming Changes and Improvements
I have my worst pc ever in terms of weird compatibility problems, boot up takes literal 20 minutes at times with 2x1TB SSD and 2x1TB HDD and messed up boot sequence. Some Intel I5, RTX 2060, 16GB RAM. MB no wifi so I use external and phone router, most often with burned out GB limit and on some lifeline low speed transfer. Some OC to CPU and GPU but nothing major, can't remember exact values now. Server Amsterdam.
I am too lazy to fix or reinstall, also no dusting for a year or so (though house very low dust by design). PoE 2 plays fine, no temp spikes or fan speed spikes, first few days I used outdated gpu drivers and outside of weird flashes at camp I had no problems. Had more freezes in PoE 1 on PS5 at this point, actually not sure if I had any on pc so far. So not to dismiss anyone's problem, but if it's so bad I should be the first to have it bad, unless server side ofc. |

"Upcoming changes and Improvements"
What are the improvements? Remember Neopets? They had a working auction house and even a stock market, 1998! Imagine its 2024 and after 10 years of development POE2 doesn't have a working auction house. I know you guys like the hassle I mean ideal vision of stopping gameplay to find a responsive player selling what you need that is online the same time as you, going to their hideout, having them haggle over price, bait switch, scam, and reneg on the deal - that is if they don't kick you for taking too long or not knowing/following proper unwritten protocols of "seller invites buyer to party, buyer teleports to seller, seller offers trade, buyer puts up currency first". Let players list gear and set the price at X of Y currency of their choosing. Figure out the problems and weigh the impact to ingame economy, wellbeing, engagement, and player quality now while we're still in Early Access and the points dont matter. How was your break? Did you guys exchange gifts? The nice ones you bought, from an actual marketplace, the ones you didn't have to haggle and barter for from neighbors to regift. I bet that was a nice experience. Imagine it was the later. For everything you needed, ever. Yeah, trading is still dogshit boys. |

Wishing GGG luck with this game. Actually think it's terrible. :/
|
|
the game is in a state of brokenness that defies logic. frames are terrible forced to run at low settings and terrible stuttering. Cannot fight boss battles at the slanted difficulty. seriously what were you guys thinking? FIX THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you GGG for such a game!
Might be difficult to hear all those players from easier games (not saying wich) coming to PoE2 and complaining that it's too hard to play, that we need to talk with people to trade and so on... Let them be, from my side I totally support the mentality you put into your games, the best thing about GGG games is "Is it too hard for you? play softcore" moto. Merry christmas and Happy New Year! P.S.: This is an early access version of the game people :) |
