Endgame Feedback and Bugs
Some early access feedback for endgame. Just to preface, love the structure of the endgame but there are some things that I feel could use some tuning. Standard player, level 90 Deadeye.
1. Waystone quest requirements are a bit high. 10 maps per tier is a little on the high side and can get a bit tedious. Kind of made worse by low waystone drops and lower map variety since there's only 3 acts. 2. Ritual is extremely cramped with high monster density. Monsters basically all spawn at once right on top of you. It almost feels faster than POE1. 3. Hasted rares with AOE slams (Vile Vultures) are incredibly difficult to deal with. 4. Mana leech doesn't work. Not enough mana options on the tree to resolve higher cost linked skills if you can't find optimal gear. 5. Finding citadels is extremely hard. At least for me, I've run up to tier 15s and maybe an additional 90 maps or more - only seen 1. Maybe add like an indicator in the direction of one after traveling for X time. 6. Endgame progression needs a mini boss around tier 8-10 maps. Maybe something similar to Infinite Hunger from POE1. 7. Atlas has some loading issues where the fog isn't clear where you have been before. 8. Delirium sometimes never ends? Or gets stuck counting down. Not sure if this is player error or if it's glitched. 8. Zigg Refuge (first map device location) causes crashes for when you enter maps. Fine after you get a hideout. 9. Boss Atlas point rewards are unclear. I have 4 points in it and have beat area level 81 bosses but I am not getting extra points. 10. Finding rares can be difficult and requires excessive backtracking. I recommend adding a map indicator when you are ~close to a rare monster. 11. Tower maps can have poor visibility when entering rooms. 12. My luck with the reforger is terrible. I thought you could retain stats but it's just a complete reroll of an item. Might be a bit weak or useless. 13. Annul orb drop rate seems extremely low. Same with chance orbs, but those have shards. 14. Currency exchange is a little buggy still. Says "Faustus" has completed your order. Sometimes won't select your currency. The shortcut to control+click an inventory item and it show up in the exchange has been removed. 15. Ice Shot can't freeze. Would be nice to have a freezing/cold skill that isn't Salvo for build variety. 16. Can't fast travel from the trial of chaos or sanctum to your hideout. " Its not the PoE1 recombinator but the replacement for 3:1 vendor recipes. Thats all it does and it took me a while to figuer that out... The only real usecase Ive found so far is trading up maptiers. Other than that I dont even bother most of the time |
