PoE2 please add transmog
I am not playing the game for long, but so from what I have gotten myself and from what I read about around internet from other playes, uniques are kinda useless and not generaly worth using against rares.
Yet there is so many beautiful models people at GGG made, its shame to never see it because stats of those items sucks. Please give uniques at least visual purpose and add a transmog system, where you can unlock a armor or weapon skin upon salvage or dissenchantement and then use it over your current skin. I know the game is free and cosmetics from mtx shop is what keeps this game alive, but cmon, so much time must went into those beautiful models, its such a shame not being able to use them. Diablo IV also relies heavily on mtx and it has a transmog system. Add one here too, but make it that you have to unlock the skins individualy for every char, so you have something to work for every time and not like in Diablo, where you unlock everything on 1st char and then on alts its boring as hell. Please, pretty please add transmog. Last edited by martygod12#0232 on Dec 17, 2024, 3:15:29 PM Last bumped on Jan 24, 2025, 4:52:54 PM

We where asking for that for over a decade in poe 1 so its unlikely but we all would love that.

" Game desperately needs smth like transmog system and I heard that there is already an item in the shop but unavailable for some reason which should allow us to unlock appearance of an item you have so you can use it as any other mtx. |

Totally agree: hundreds of unique skin super cool (90% useless in game, but really good aesthetically) need a trasmog system, for the sake of the artists that works on them at least XD.

Skin transfers have existed in PoE 1 for ages and, since I was immediately in love with all the art in PoE 2, I asked one of the devs at Gamescom 2023 - so, this is completely unofficial and no guarantees but he said that yeah, that skin transfers would very likely be available in PoE 2, too. :)

bumping this because i would love to start wearing more practical gear but i find myself nerfing myself to make my characters look decent XD
finally i can get rid of those straw sandals on my ranger and start using those bushwhack boots that are getting dusty in my inventory! |

The way skin transfer works in poe1 is really.. not a good way.
As i remember it was like that: You buy a token. You use the token to transfer a skin from one item to another. The token is gone. Since PoE is a season game, i would prefer it if i could use a token on an item and add it to my mtx list this way. For any season. Permanent. The way it is now is not getting my support at least. |

What do you mean "Even"? Grim Dawn is a top tier ARPG so of course it has features that players want.
POE is for sweaty gatekeepers that like shit obscure af. |
