I still can't update or install the game...
There's always an error popup stating: "Could not overwrite executable with new patched executable. Please make sure that PathOfExile.exe or PathOfExile.tmp are not still running. If nevessary, you may need to reboot your computer." I did the reboot, I tried to uninstall and reinstall, but even with the game being uninstalled, I still get this message... Any idea what to do? |

For the love of god please fix the windows 24h2 system freeze. I have been playing fullscreen without system freezes until this patch. Now the game freezes even in fullscreen. I've set affinity with core 0 and 1 off but that caused the game to get unstable. I've got over 130hrs and the freezing is only getting worse.

" Best fix I've read and works for me, is you delete the .exe file, and rename the .tmp to the .exe and it should run. |

Thanks, unfortunately I removed the game so there is nothing to rename anymore -.- I can't install it anymore as the same error appears.
EDIT: I correct myself. After using the installer and the first error, there are the files .exe and .tmp. I did the changes and it seems the installation works now. Thanks a lot again! Last edited by javar_berlin#8222 on Dec 18, 2024, 12:47:18 AM

Was there a stealth nerf to spirit costs for witch minions? Prepatch I could maintain 8 Arsonists and 2 Storm mages and now I can only maintain 7 & 1 respectively with nothing changing except the patch.
