I need Therapy!!!!

OP - you need to re-examine how you're fundamentally engaging with the game.

They say there's no right or wrong way to play a video game. I disagree. If this is the effect that gaming is having on you, you're playing them wrong.

Enjoy the ride. There's no rush. There's no deadline to hit a certain level or waystone tier by a certain day. You play video games for the gameplay. If the core gameplay isn't fun to you, find something else that is. And make sure you're approaching video games correctly to begin with.

As for POE 2 - make sure you're grasping the game and its mechanics. Don't just bash your head into the wall over and over again and try to force your way through progression. If it's THAT hard to you, you're doing something wrong. You don't have enough resistances. Or your build is really bad because you don't fully grasp the skill tree. Or you don't fully grasp the skills and their mechanics.

Make sure you're stopping to breathe and examine the game. Every time I ran into a difficulty spike in the game, I re-examined things, realized some aspect of my character was poorly optimized, fixed it, and then I made it through.
The best therapy is to go pump some iron. Arnold lays out the blueprint to follow.
