Trade overhaul

that middle age trade system must be changed. I wrote since the last hour 20.30 people for a helmet, liested few seconds ago. I never get an answer but item still in list, that is annoying!

I,absolutely agree. I'm playing poe1 for few years. It's really fun and trade works really good there. But my opinion is it works fine because of trade bots or people who spend entire time ingame wit trading. The auction way would be really nice or some trading automation will be also good.
My idea is, when you place any item ro public stash for the price, and someone want to buy it, just click in trade to something like instant buy, the window will open in game where the player will put the requested price and pay some gold as a instant trade fee and accept. The item will "disappear" from sellers stash,and the currency will appear in his stash or currency stash.
Gold fee will force players to actively play since the gold is intrasferable and you will skip annoying phase of sending messages and waiting if anybody will reply.
Auction is also good idea for high value gear, where there also might be fees for enlisting the gear to auction server and also a part of the price (10% of currency if the price is over 10 units) will be payed (eg dissapear from the game)

100%, trying to buy something, seeing what you want with price that is acceptable, whisping them, waiting, whisping again, waiting, then looking for another item that fits what I need, whisping... silence.
Price fixers and people busy playing game is the wall the trade does not need. Someone cant trade? Make a league for them, don't care.
Automate the S out of trade.

100 % right. I hate trading in its current state.

1) Implement a good crafting system which values playtime and allows for steady progress and isn't full gamble such that trading isn't necessary anymore
2) Remove trading apart from unique items
3) Create a simple trading UI for uniques like the currency exchange

That's how I would like it.
On top I would also prefer if the only gear drops are uniques and the rest are crafting materials such that I have to spend less time on inventory management and can actually play instead of porting back to town every other minute.

Auction House / Automated Item Trading hurts their stash bloat, and directly detracts from the appeal of "premium tabs."

I 100% agree this game cries out for a trading system. Any self-respecting individual that tries to trade in PoE2, especially late-game, especially for 1 or 2 exalt items, and especially for very desirable items, understands how shit it is.

But the sad reality is stash bloat and premium tabs go hand in hand, and without stash tab sales imagine how much poorer GGG would be.

If they are going to charge people real money for the ability to trade(premium stash tabs) then thats bs, they need to make it actually worth the cost. So i hope you're wrong and i hope they change their mind.

ITEM FROM THEM TO ME. NO MORE ITEM LISTED.
