Same here.
Crashing every 2 hours or so, during boss fights mainly. The rest of the time the game is very smooth, nonetheless I went to low or medium settings on every graphic, especially shadow and water though my graphic card is running much higher settings in about any recent games (namely D4). I have also tried resetting graphics in game and by deleting Production_Config.ini as suggested on some sites online, but it did nothing. I also verified the integrity of the game files through Steam and it validated nothing was wrong there. Windows and my graphic card are up to date. I have tried limiting the FPS (60/20) and boosted my fans, but they will not run, as the graphic card does not produce enough heat. I tried DirectX11 and it really did not agree with the game's visual and became extra choppy so I went back to DirectX12. I even tried running the game in Windows7 and 8 compatibility mode, but it also was to no avail. I have the same problem with dx12 (rtx4070).
Got 6 crashes yesterday! When i alt f4 after freeze, i get no error message. When the game freezes and i wait a bit, it crashes and i get the same DX12 failed to create ressource Error. |

Same problem altough it happens randomly, not in time periods. For me it looks like some problem with lighnings when using lighning skill or location with many fast-moving shadows.

But I guess nobody gives a ^%&% about that anyway. My question to you all is: how can you be so calm about the situation? 30-40 individuals posted about this since the end of last year about this and not a single mod/ggg guy passed by to... anything, say a word, acknowledge that those 30-40 people exist. I'm not gonna get into the fact that those people paid at least 30$ (some maybe more) but that's obvious. There is this thread (there are probably more, dunno) https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3676576 where people also mention writing, opening a ticket/case, writing to support and guess what... in a month you don't even get a reply back. I know someplace here on the forum I read that "if we don't reply on the thread you're posting your bug/problem it doesn't mean we're not reading it" but hey, you're taking this way too far, we could go to the end of time and the situation could go on exactly like this, thousands of people having problems, probably the majority of them getting absolutely ignored and everything is fine in the ggg world. I just hope they won't ban me, delete my account but I had to say this, I never encountered this level of je m'en fiche in the 30 years I'm using a computer. Not even a basic ticketing bot "we received your message and we'll get back to you asap"? Not even a guy taking 5 seconds to write a comment on a thread where 30-40 people mention a distinct error message? This is beyond my wildest customer support horrors. From a company that's considered "the good guys", not the money hungry bastards from the "other" company. But maybe my information is not correct and you're still a 2 guys in a garage company.. |
