Visual Effects Ruining Coop Mapping
Have put over 100 hours into the game so far and loving the fluid combat on my invoker monk. It’s almost unbelievable how good the coop gameplay feels with how good solo content is. As you begin nearing endgame and builds are starting to become realized, the visual effects start to completely ruin the coop experience. Friendly attack damage and enemy attack damage are the same color, the general brightness of the effects hides the enemies as they freely charge into the midst of your group one shotting players who never saw anything until they died. God forbid your friend or friends are playing a wizard or any other spam lingering AOE focused build. If you were to turn off your monitor and play it would be the same result as trying to play through current coop visual attack effects, only maybe less traumatizing to your brain rather than trying to make any sense of what is on your screen. Crazy that such a phenomenal game and one of the best coop experiences I have ever had is being ruined by something with such a seemingly easy fix. Can’t imagine those visuals are helping any mid to lower end pcs’ frame rates either. Thanks so much for the hard work that has obviously gone into this project and can’t wait to see where it goes, but for now I’ll have to pretend I can no longer see party invites to enjoy endgame content, beyond unfortunate.
