Lost Early Access After Two Weeks of Playing

Hi everyone,

I wanted to bring attention to an issue I'm experiencing with PoE 2 Early Access. I've been playing since around December 13th without any problems, but today when I tried to log in, I received a message saying I don't have active access anymore.

This is a bug since my early access was properly activated and I've been actively playing for about two weeks now. I've already contacted support about this, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced something similar?

Just to be clear:

Had active early access for ~2 weeks
Was playing normally yesterday
Today: Getting "no active access" message
Already submitted a support ticket

If anyone else has encountered this issue or knows of a potential fix, please let me know.

Hey there, Exile.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to assist with this issue over the forums. If you've already contacted us via email at support@grindinggear.com then I'm afraid you'll need to wait for the appropriate team member to get back to you. We're currently handling a large volume of tickets right now so we really appreciate your patience in the meantime!

If you obtained your early access through purchasing one of the Early Access packs, please also include the transaction ID of the purchase. This can usually be found alongside your receipt of payment provided to you by the payment processor you used.

If you obtained your early access by redeeming a key, then the key's status may have been revoked if the original purchase was refunded or charged back. If this is the case, you may want to reach out to whoever you received the key from to check with them regarding the validity of your key.
Thank you for your initial response. However, I need more specific information about my situation. The suggestion that my "key's status may have been revoked" is particularly concerning as I have legitimately paid for this access.
I require the following specific details:

1) The exact status of my early access key
2) When and why any changes to my access were made
3) If my access was indeed revoked, I need to know:

- The specific reason for the revocation
- Who authorized this action
- Why I wasn't notified about this change in advance

I have been actively playing for approximately two weeks without any issues, and this sudden loss of access without any specific explanation is unacceptable for a paid service.

If my access was mistakenly revoked, I request immediate restoration. If there is any legitimate issue, I need specific details so I can address it properly.

Please provide a detailed response addressing these points. As a paying customer, I believe I'm entitled to clear information about my account status.
They're not going to provide any of this information here. You have to email them and wait.
and keep on waiting...
This is something on their part, fix it plain and simple.

!!!This is a Widespread Issue!!!

After reviewing the forums, it's clear this isn't an isolated incident. There are numerous threads from other players reporting the exact same issue - sudden loss of early access without warning or explanation. Just on the first page alone, we can see multiple separate threads about access being revoked.

https://prnt.sc/8g91YDEUVZrp

This appears to be a systematic problem affecting many paid early access users. Some key observations:
- Multiple users report losing access on December 24-26
- Many affected users were playing normally just yesterday
- This is affecting users who legitimately purchased their access
- No advance warning was given about these access revocations

While I've already contacted support and am waiting for a response, the scale of this issue suggests this needs urgent attention from GGG. Having paid customers suddenly locked out of their early access en masse is a serious concern that deserves immediate investigation and communication from the team.

@GGG Staff - Could we please get an official response about:
1. What caused this mass access revocation
2. When we can expect access to be restored
3. What steps are being taken to prevent this from happening again

I'll update this thread when I receive a response from support, but given how many players are affected, this warrants a public statement.
After observing the growing number of posts about early access revocation and the complete lack of substantive response, I feel compelled to share my next steps in seeking resolution.

Current Situation:

- Dozens of threads about access revocation
- No explanation for mass service termination
- No timeline for resolution
- No acknowledgment of the scale of the issue
- Complete silence despite affecting paid customers

Given the concerning nature of this situation - where paying customers are being denied access to their purchased content without explanation or notice - I have decided to escalate this matter. I have contacted Tencent's compliance department as GGG's parent company to review this situation.

To be clear: This is not about one individual's access issues. This appears to be a systematic removal of paid customer access without explanation, notice, or clear path to resolution. Such business practices deserve proper review.

I am sharing this information simply to be transparent about my own actions in seeking resolution. Each customer will need to decide their own appropriate course of action based on their situation.

I will update this thread if I receive any substantive response through any channel.
This just happened to me as well today... I bought the early access key off of Eneba on the 14th and have been playing nonstop for the past 2 weeks. Now its telling me that I dont have early access to the game. I haven't gotten a refund from Eneba so it cant be due to that. I don't want to cave in and spend another $30 for this game but I also don't want to wait days or even weeks for a response. Very annoyed that this is even a thing that is happening.
a lot of people have the same problem, I sent a support request to support@grindinggear.com. They told me that I got the key from a 3rd party, they can't help me further on this issue.
It's weird that I played the game for more than 2 weeks and lost access, they can easily check that I joined Early Access and they can restore it for me, but no they ask me to buy a pack again for at least 30$
