queue signal failed error

Hello PoE2 community!
Since couple of says, I'm having an issue.
While playing, I often listen to music and stuff on my second monitor.
However, sometime, the same just crashes and everything goes black, then comes up with the following error message : queue signal failed

Computer setup :
7800x3d
7900xtx
64gb ram
2x2tb m.2

I recently did a complete format of my computer, so it's a fresh Windows 11 install, from 2 days ago in fact.

I also had another message : BufferD3D12() CreatePlacedRessourceX dailed
After couple reaserch, I found that it's a DX12 problem.

If anyone have an idea, a solution, or if this can lead to a bug fix, please keep me posted.

No its not a dx12 specific error - in fact its an amd related error; happens only on amd cards. Got the same on a fresh win 11 24h2 install with radeon 6500xt install and all latest drivers. Yet to find an nvidia card where that happens.

Ive sent all crash reports to amd with their bug report tool in the hope that they fix this somehow - also reported it to the bug report forums here at ggg so that they probably can reach out to amd to get this fixed.

Problem with this error is it happens totally random - if your lucky enough hours long everything is fine; if not so lucky it happens thrice in half an hour. Also it doesnt matter at all if you select dx12, dx11 or vulcan.

What indeed helped to lower the crash frequency at mine is setting ingame to intel xess on ultra (not ultra+) - that setting isnt 100% stable aswell but at least the crash frequency is very low - probably crashes twice a day only whats kinna "acceptable" to say the least.

I really hope they fix that problem once and for all with amd because as said; does not happen at all on nvidia cards - in my main rig i got an nvidia 4060 with latest (marked poe2 optimized) driver; yet to see a single crash - works perfectly - i also googled if somebody got that error on nvidia cards just out of interest - didnt find one. ^^

I use two monitors
Sometimes I switch both monitors to another PC and keep the game running without monitor
Sometimes I only swith one monitor - game also moves to another monitor
When I switch monitor, sound output also switches (both sound devices have same name "Динамики (Realtek(R) Audio)")

Sometimes this ends up with the game crashing with "Queue Signal failed" error message
Feels like today it started crashing every time I switch monitors

Guys i think i found the solution; you need to deactivate the AMD ingame overlay - you can do this by opening the amd adrenaline controler center, there top right click on the settings wheel - then in the submenue click settings again and there deactivate all the six options provided there.

Did that yesterday morning and havent experienced a single crash since then - give it a shot guys and report back if it helped you aswell.

Thanks for the reply. I did some testing but unfortunately nothing resolve the situation. Now the game just close as if I did an Alt+F4. No error message, nothing like that.
I wish it was working properly. I just failed a Trial of Chaos due to the game stability issues.

Updated Bios to latest version. Disabled FSR, nothing seems to resolve this situation.
I seem to have the exact same issue as you, on and off since launch day. Game crashes often and sometimes with the error Exception: Queue Signal failed. I have also had the error Exception: vk::Device::acquireNextImageKHR: ErrorDeviceLost.

Often, but not always, it crashes within 20 seconds of playing a new zone. If I just restart the game, it will crash again even sooner. Sometimes before the Main Menu. To be able to play the game again, I have to restart the computer and I can play for 1-2 hours.

I believe the game crashes less often if I disable Multithreading. I have tried every other fix the Internet have to offer.

Nearly 60 hours of game and start having this same problem "queue signal failed error". 2 times and also big crash. Using amd here an 6750 xt
Same I noticed this bug is easily recreateable when I'm between my tv and pc monitor in windowed mode, if I keep it on full screen on either it's fine.
