The only real explanation - OP installed malware on his PC, or logged into steam through third party phishing site.

Dude, OP got his STEAM account hijacked it can't be done throught GGGs admin accounts LOL. so nope, this dudes problems isn't GGGs fault.

After 17 pages of people getting hacked and half the people victim-blaming and being a cybersecurity expert as if big companies never had breaches.

If people have nothing to bring into solving the problem, don't misdirect from solving it by blaming the victims.

You can shift the goalposts to ONE GUY if you want, this thread included a ton of people; thus why "not a single person".

Yes, some people maybe weren't secure (OP?), but in these 45 pages and all of reddit and youtube most people got screwed because GGG made an error and every single thread had tons of cybersecurity experts ready to chime in their opinion on how victims are at fault for not being secure enough. Thats all.

It has been 24 days, and I’m still left wondering about my situation. I purchased a supporter pack along with a key for Early Access. However, after my account was hacked—apparently due to a social engineering breach where someone gained access to an admin account at GGG (confirmed in the Tavern Talk Podcast, though I’m puzzled why there hasn’t been an official announcement yet)—my account has been locked for over 24 days.

At this point, I sincerely hope that everyone impacted by this issue, myself included, will receive a prompt and fair resolution.

Im still waiting fro answer since dec19, I sent GGG my first account paid's from Bank after they asking about proof's that is my account. They didnt ask anything
after it just silince. How much should i wait?

FYI

GGG gets hacked every year. I went through this BS December 2023 and once more prior to that. There's always something new and they refuse to implement a SIMPLE 2FA

my account doesnt have a password or email associated with it only steam, dont know what an admin PoE account can do with that, maybe something with the steamid thats linked to my PoE account but we will get answers soon.

besides that my steam 2FA wasent triggered which is the weirdest part

aside from that i can garantee that i didnt install anything aside from Overwolf PoE companion for PoE2 still doubt its that xD and no of course no phishing im not 12 xD
