On Death effects have to go
I don't think I'm the first to post about this
I'm really not a fan of on death effects in T15, especially in multi play With so many minions and skill effects like flame wall going about from your party, its practically impossible to see if there are any on death effects happening until its too late As a melee trying to locate the boss (or full screen of loot <I do use loot filter>), this is really.. painful.. GGG has some crazy fetish for all those on deaths and lingering ground effects. I am doubtful they gonna change much, but I am very hopeful. At the amount of ODE and ground poop we get in high tiers at that visibility it is just annoying as hell.
One of the biggest piece of shit enemy mechanic for me are those blood fat baby looking lepricons that keep turning in to blood puddles. I guess if ODE was not melded visually with everything on screen I would not care much. But some of them just require you to squint your eyes so hard that your face start developing bicepses from working out so hard while focusing on wtf is going on. • Fo shizzle ma nizzle

I was hopeful for slower more clear and clean combat from the acts, but no, you just spam effects until you can't see anything. My friend would play melee with me, while I'm firewall + minions, and for 70%+ of the screen it's just fire and nothing else you can see. He dies to random on ground or on death effects often because they're not visible.

" I don't really have so much of an issue with those fat mobs, as you straight away know that they will explode. but other on death effects just suck, and it's not only about dying but rather the whole dynamic that is behind it, as now you are always killing a mob and waiting for it to explode or not. not to mention that rare packs now have an on death visual effect in maps, and you have to wait to see if this is only the visual effect or if they gonna explode in your face when you go loot the trash it droped |

Yes, completely awful. And they drop loot, so you go to loot but you die.
So the gameplay changes to: kill a mob, count to 5, continue playing That's boring |

They're not inherently bad design, they just are a bit too prevalent but they have a place in the game.

" My party members and myself pause after every rare until all visuals clear before we go pick the loot Game has been successfully slowed! |
