POE 2 Blood Mage _ Crimson Stasis _ Can Clear T15 with ease and do most content.
Tired of sanctum? How about you just stop everything else from moving entirely with 100%+ Aura Temp chains! What is the point of the build

The goal of the build is to stop everything around us from moving so we can basically juke everything or be able to freely walk through things as our enemies are frozen in a stasis. ALlowing us to freely stack contagion and essence drain on enemies who are also affected by our very powerful despair curse and max wither stacks. How much will this cost?

This will cost a pretty penny as stacking our temp chains will require stuff like corruption implicit's. But right now the market is kind of eh so if you have maybe 10-30 divines you can probably make the build work for later game content. Videos Pros vs Cons

Pros - Infinite pack clear with Contagion + ED + Hexbloom - Very forgiving when dashing around monsters due to temporal chains - Overflow HP (x2 Maximum HP) - Energy Shield - 25% damage taken overtime - 70%+ Despair making bosses a walking meat sack - 100%+ Temporal Chains For normal enemies (~55% on uniques) making enemies easy to manipulate Cons - Can get stun locked rather easily - Projectiles nail you - Reduced curse effect on maps is a no go - Slow resistant creatures can walk up to you - Low DPS compared to other end game builds Information

" Bloodmage has ascendancy spell crit that we can take advantage of. We use chaos bolt from our wand. As hexblast as of right now removes despair without gaining the bonus from its res shred. So we would of course want a withered wand to be able to cast chaos blast. Which will do mega crit damage and also freeze uniques and rares! " Nope, and also thats not free. It costs points.... Which id rather have in the -25% damage and mega crit when my temp chains is already 100% " Unleash lets you apply contagion to multiple targets at once as poe 2's auto targeting system can make it target an enemy in the back making you pay a blood and mana cost for something you cant take advantage of. Unleash applies it to another enemy making it much more likely to allow the start of your essence drain to spread while everything is frozen around you. Also! Temporal chains increases the duration of all debuff on the enemy. So poison/chaos dot/bleed builds are much more stronger because the effects last much longer. You can even combo that with your ailments deal damage faster for mega profit. But thats not my playstyle someone else can loot into that. Yes, temporal chains is the only curse that is also affected by the modifier "Slow magnitude"
So we basically just use all our jewel sockets to stack aura effect + curse effect then we get all the slow magnitude modifiers we can via implicits skill points and gems. I tried to also use enfeeble as less damage taken is awesome but once everything stops moving the enfeeble becomes redundant and is taking so much spirit for little to no reward. |

whats the math on this?
you are planning JUST temp chains? 28% temp chains would need 257% increased effect for 100% slow. 40% blasphemy less effect, would require 495% increased effect. are you actually using spell crit someplace I didn't notice? why bloodmage? if you did want to try this, wouldn't chronomancer for that free 20% aoe slow, and 6% increased slow work better? separate source, would et all the slow mag scaling, then multiply into temp chains. so, 50% tempchains+20% apex slow, is 60% slow. passive tree. 10,6,6,6,18,9,8 curse effect 63% 10,4,4 slow mag 18% 8,8,20 aura effect. 36% 117% do you think these multiple into each other? 30% glove slow mag. 10% time manip slow mag. 157% 10% tempchains quality. 167% is ten jewels enough enough to get you there? 5% curse effect per. 10% auras per. 150% with 10 jewels. 317%. enough for self casting, but not blasphemy? 116.7% slow. 70% with blasphemy. (chronomancer. 64%slow mag. with 20% apex, and 6% added slow mag to tempchains. 118 slow self cast tempchains, 71% blasphemy. x32.8% apex for 94.3% aoe slow. can even timefreeze..) unleash and conc effect on contagion. what would that do? No I don't believe that the chronomancer is the best or how you try to press it only user of this as I have only played with it on blood mage and designed everything without outside help. So it works perfectly fine on blood mage with no problems. You don't really need the extra slow from chronomancer. You already have so many sources of stacking multipliers that getting 100% is easy. I like blood mages -25% damage that gets converted to dot. Which can be negated by recoup essentially making you take -25% damage. Its a wonderful addon. Also being able to double your maximum hp is amazing and the massive healing while being able to casually walk through enemies to grab them just feels nice. Also blood mage can make your base spell crit chance CRACKED. So you are much more likely to crit with blood mage its awesome. Also I dont recommend hexblast at all. As hexblast removes our despair curse a lot of the time. Which as ive tested didnt gain the benefits of the powerful despair curse. So using chaos bolt for single target with the crit chance is so nice. Especially if you get cast speed on your rings Yes your math is wrong someplace. As I can open up the game and have -103% blasphemy temp chains now which I can further increase by probably 10-15% and have further evidence that it works. So there is no reason to ask if your math is wrong. These are must likely multiplying on each other. These increase the effect of the blasphemy itself. Also do you take in to the fact of blasphemies level? How about the unique jewel with +3 to blasphemy level? How about encumbrance? Edit: Further notice contagions damage is pretty considerable so increasing its damage by a more modifier when it gains a lot of % modifiers from itself is a massive help to the spread. Unleash applies contagion on multiple targets making it easy to spread and start the chain reaction. Chill has no effect on curses it doesn't multiply into curse effect. " chill is separate from freeze. chill is a slow. all slows multiply into each other. so if you had 50% chill slow, and 80% temp chains, and 20% apex, that would be 80x1.5x1.2=144% slow. i was using level 21 gems for blashphemy/temp chains. which fair enough, +skills should be higher. you didn't mention a +3 curse jewel. so +1 that, and -15% effect from a tenth jewel? I thought I included encumbrance, but I don't see the 15% in the math, so must not have. Unleash swapping targets is not a behavior I've noticed. but ok. why con effect? why would you want to reduce its spread? the dot shouldnt be area damage. -- ok, so math again. after reviewing it a few times, I think I got it. +5 to all skills, +3 to blasphemy? 25/28? 30% temp chains base. 37% blasphemy less effect, 63% effect. 5% curse effect per. 10% auras per. with 9 jewels. 10,6,6,6,18,9,8 curse effect 63%, 10=73%+45=118% 8,8,20 aura effect. 36% +90=126 =244% if these two add into each other as buff effects. 30% base x 3.44 =103%. x.63 =65% slow. slow magnitude is a debuff however. it IS multiplying. 10,4,4 slow mag 18% 30,15, 10 =73% 65%x1.73=112% slow with blasphemy. I think you are just being unclear on all your sources of slow, spell levels, etc. what exactly are your spell levels for blasphemy and temp chains? how many jewels do you have and of what %? note hinder is a separate effect. I do also suppose ess drain does hit for crits as well. how are you triggering recoup? |

You are taking the conversation to your own world. I never mentioned the slow. I mentioned the curse you are adding in other slows. Thats not included in the number that says 103% temporal chains. Which results in over 100% slow. Im up to 107% temp chains now actually.
If you didnt know contagion is aoe lol Also you say I'm being unclear when you missed 2 clear points and the gem is on mobalytics on the jewel you missed the stuff so once you can fix your math and try to actually conversate with me instead of trying to flood me with questions with no kindness in your words that most are self answerable with either a google search or a trade of a level 1 skill gem for contagion to see it is in fact affected by the gems.
