Full computer freezes are driving me insane.

Disabling Multithreading in the options works on the crashing, its not optimal, but it does work for me.

My pc stopped crashing after i switched from direct12 to direct11 in graphic settings. And i really cant tell a difference in performance or graphics, so im sticking with direct11 to keep from crashing.

My rig uses a core i9, 4080ti card, 32g ram. So its not a hardware issue.

Never crashed once on my system, and its far from modern.

Intel Core i7-4790K, Geforce 2070 RTX, 16gb of ram.

However one thing that i did not long ago, because my CPU overheated, was to replace the old CPU cooler with a new one, so its cooling is pretty good atm.
Maybe try to monitor your cpu temperature while playing? I remember using soome app to write down continously cpu temp, thats how i was sure my old cpu cooler wasnt doing its job anymore, the temperature was spiking before the crashes.

Ofc im alos on windows 10, since my old system isnt win11 compatible, so it might be also the cause.
