A Message to GGG regarding holiday release - NOT COOL
its pretty simple... they needed to show positive cash flow to close out 2024 for accounting and overall business health.
It made perfect sense to release when they did. This game had no business being released at this scale, with the lack of support, bugs, crashes, balance, etc. Always look to $$$ as the justification for decisions. |

paying $30 to get beta/early access doesn't entitle you to their first born any more than their holiday time. Shocker I know, but it does not constitute part ownership in the company. maybe a little less demanding to see the manager energy its embarrassing.
Its billed as early and beta if you're paying even the slightest bit of attention. Expect rough edges, act like you been through this before. I have many times and can tell you this is very normal and GGG is maybe something like 2 to 3 times faster and more communicative than just about any other dev you'll ever interact with, they aren't perfect and there is no perfect or idealic ones who live up to the made up visions of your imagination anywhere to be seen. Not in the entire history of this hobby and you can trust me on this because I've lived and gamed through that entire history. On a side note, overly sensitive TOS is why this stuff exists on this forum to this extremity. In the good old days in gaming forums even on this very forum; threads like this would have been met with more blunt and intellectually honest replies. Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.

" one of the best EA/betas I've experienced. I've played since computers had kilobyte memory. How about you? Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
