Latency spikes FIX (possible)
|
Worked for me only 1 hour, then big lag spikes again.
It's not on our side, it's GGG not fixing this shit. Many other people having the same problems worldwide. |

Tried on few maps and solved the issue for me ! Also which renderer is the best for you guys ?

Still having issues after this possible fix, going from 22MS to 200+ spikes.
GGG FIX YOUR SERVERS..... |

Does not help and it's not MY problem. The game works perfectly fine with maximum 10 MS latency for few hours and then without any changes on my side the latency diagram turns into fn Himalayas and jump up to thousands and only when I start mapping. GGG FIX YOUR SERVERS. POE2 is not the excuse to throw POE1 into to the trash can. Stop shitting on the game that gave you everything.

It's frankly inexcusable that GGG has so little regard for the players that they can't even be bothered to respond to any of the issues we're experiencing. Congrats GGG, you're the Comcast of game developers.

So this fix stopped working for me since yesterday. It looks like server side issue

This worked for me as well! I moved to a new place where my desktop can't be hard wired to the Ethernet so i thought it was just lag spikes due to that. Setting my shader limit and adjusting some graphics seem to work for me!
Appreciate the tip! |

Upsizing the shader cache doesn't solve the issue. Same problem with DX12 or Vulkan.
A file of 4go was generating in folder %LocalAppData%\NVIDIA\DXCache in just 1 map with a lot of lags (blight map + minions build ...) After the modification on the shader cache (and a reboot), I changed the setting "Upscale mode" in game from NIS to bilinear. Lags spike instantly disapear. I have a RTX 5060, no upscale in resolution (1920 x 1200). Upscale mode "Nvidia DLSS" might work better than default mode "NIS" too if you have a recent GPU. Thank you for your comments, I hope this one will help too. |

It's server side and random. The "fix" just means you haven't had the spike again yet.

bump!
I'm having the same issue on my side. I know my PC isn't brand new, but can still play other online games without any hiccups like WOT or CSGO, etc. I started a new character a month ago and everything was flawless until 2 weeks ago when I started getting lag spikes like crazy, jumping from 50ms to 1000+ms... then it stopped. then it started again. then it stopped. then started again tonight... I started checking everything possible fix on my PC or my network (shared in these forums)... nothing seemed to be permanent. starting to get on my nerves lol I recorded a short clip and screenshot but can't seem to post it here :( Hope this get fixed soon before the new league starts! My Specs: Win10 Home AMD FX-8350 GTX 1650 Super 16GB DDR3 ram 500GB SSD 1000Mbs internet speed (playing on WIFI 5) Fier d'être québécois !
