Corrupted Painter's Servant do not increase damage
Painter's Servant gloves split your ele damage into all three types evenly (33% each). One of the new corruption outcomes is to increase the percentage of each of these conversions. It is possible to have total conversions be greater than 100% such as in the simplest case where all three conversion percentages increase with corruption. My read of this would be that you would boost your total damage by converting more than 33% of your original total elemental damage to each of the final component elemental parts. However, it does not seem to work this way as a pair of corrupted gloves that I have which have total conversion = 115% do not increase my damage total. Wondering if this is a bug or intended behavior? I could understand where you would simply want more of one element vs another.

Yeah i got a corrupted painter's servant that sums 112% conversion and i don't get more damage from it. I think what happens is conversion is capped at 100%. If you are above 100% conversion it probably just averages the numbers. Or maybe it really is just a bug.
That said, it would be nice if painter's servant could go above 100% conversion to make a three elemental build more viable. | |
Working as intended.
Any thing over 100 becomes weighted. Example 75% to fire and 50% to cold would be 60% and 40% respectively. I think skill conversion comes first then all others. Don't quote me on that part. |
