Little showcase of my Titan.
I wanted to create my own build based on Resonating Shield with Magma Barrier from the start. I'm still improving my build and gear — I'm still learning what I can change or switch in the tree to perform better, especially on mapping, what I enjoy the most.

I don't like builds based solely on boosting one skill because I want to play the game and have fun utilizing everything the game offers. My build is based on the armor break explosion from Resonating Shield, combined with Herald of Ash, which deals good damage and helps clear packs. Between hits, I'm trying to trigger Magma Blast to clear the whole screen.

The build feels very good for me because I don't need to focus only on Magma Barrier, waiting for that one perfect hit to land on me. I'm also using a totem, which deals decent damage and pulls aggro away from me, allowing me to focus on other packs or boost my own damage.

When I'm surrounded, I focus on Resonating Shield, trying to cover myself while damaging enemies, breaking their armor, and triggering Magma Blast from the barrier. My healing relies entirely on the unique helmet The Devouring Diadem (Wicked Tiara), which provides significant healing from corpses every three seconds — so I rarely need to use my flasks.

Main Skills: Resonating Shield & Magma Barrier
Shield Charge: Useful for extra damage or quickly reaching packs to one-shot them.
Shockwave Totem: Boosts rage stacks and damage while pulling aggro away from me. I mostly use the totem from range before rushing into packs to fight them. Sometimes it's unnecessary because Resonating Shield and Shield Charge are enough.
Hammer of the God: A hammer is a hammer.
Leap Slam: For repositioning during rituals or traversing terrain.

I'm planning a little rebuild to improve block chance.

The gameplay looked really satisfying :D

I´m running a resonating shield build with armour explosion as well, but I'm warbringer ascendancy and focus on physical damage and armour explosion.

Currently working my way towards T11(need som resistance still) and getting enough block for turtle charm.

It looks like the fire damage from armour explosion scales well from your passives into fire.

If you get 8% physical damage reduction on your shield, it massively boosts your performance from armour. it also updates in the tooltip.

also there are unique boots that up your shield block by a whopping 10%.

I have got an updated build with unique boots. Now I'm clearing more than the whole screen sometimes. I don't feel squishy at all, meaning I don't feel weak most of the time, especially when I'm behind my shield. If I take damage, my unique helmet heals it up quickly. For now, I'll leave my plans to increase block chance aside, as it would require giving up something in the skill tree.

Thanks for sharing this cool build. I am trying it and was wondering how do you handle boss? The clear is realy great and rare are not a issue but Boss are super long to kill i have only 850 armor on my shield so maybe is it not enought? Hammer of the god + magma barrier do low damage on boss. I feel i miss something as mapping is super nice ^^'

I rarely do boss fights, but when I do, I try to take damage into Magma Barrier. I also use the totem and Shield Charge during those fights. The performance isn’t great because the build needs better utilization of weapon swap to boost damage with Hammer of the Gods and Ignite Magnitude.

I compared my two shields, and my Magma Barrier is currently at level 28. The level of Magma Barrier can greatly improve its damage like 30k per level(?, maybe) and it should be combined with shield's armour, really.

You could always use the weapon swap system and dual wield hammer perfect strike bosses.
I'm interested in a Resonating Shield build as well. How does the interaction between RS and the support gems you're using work, Demolisher and Armour Explosion? I don't understand the "Cannot Break Armour" part on Armour Explosion. It reads like the it can no longer break armour, but it triggers by breaking armour? That's confusing the hell out of me.

So armour explosion can't proc armour explosion

Also @OP I don't see the point of Magma Barrier if you're not consuming the endurance charges. The damage is ass for the spirit cost.
