Increasing armor's effectiveness by 15% is not enough

Jonathan said that armor's effectiveness will increase by 15% with the new patch. This does not fix armor.

Correct, but that is assuming he was talking about the formula value and not the damage reduction total. If we go from 65% to 80% reduction against the same hit then that is major.

They also said armour is going to be worked on more later if i'm remembering right.

I have a post fully covering the current problems with armour and how to balance it all out properly, if anyone is interested:

I doubt armor is going to give you 65-80% mitigation against any sizable hit. This is only against the smaller hits. Going from 5% to 20% mitigation against big hits doesn't help much either.

Armour is fine you guys just don't understand how to play it and you're bricked by watching a Kripp video that isn't even right.

Once the ES meta changes and some (popular (There are already people playing armour just fine)) streamer makes an armour build you'll all change your tune.

15% more effective is probably means going from 5% to 5,75%. Not 5 to 20.
PDR was never the issue.

It was elemental and our health. Something grimdumbos dont worry about since they can scale ES so high

Just have to take what we get on the patch. Gonna roll a new warrior for it as well
Mash the clean
They also said that those "little hits" from a number white enemies are in fact not little hits, as some are hitting harder than bosses, which needs to be addressed.

he also said 15% wont fix armour and that it needs a more fundamental rework which will be coming later.

I guess small increase helps a little but better than nothing.
I'd rather they do something like give strength 3 or 4 life per point instead vs give more armour if it was a short term fix or whatever. I'm sure they're debating all the options here to bring it in line with other stuff.
