GGG please clarify the future of poe1.

GGG needs to address the future of Path of Exile 1, especially with the 3.26 season on the horizon. I absolutely dislike Path of Exile 2. Despite giving it a fair shot with over 20 hours of gameplay, I could barely push past Act 3. I have no intention of returning to it unless there are significant, sweeping changes. Based on GGG’s statements, it doesn’t seem like they’re planning the kind of changes I believe the game needs—which is fine, as long as Path of Exile 1 remains a viable option.

However, during their last stream, they said, “We don’t want to talk about Path of Exile 1. It’s a bit of a long topic.” That response is deeply concerning. They could have simply reassured players by confirming that a new league is coming, even if details were being saved for later. Instead, their vague response raises serious doubts. GGG needs to clarify the future of Path of Exile 1 and reassure the community.

I would say one more year of that. Say we will get a stream or interview with the leads of POE1 in the next month or two. Be it just Chris or Jonathan.

Dishing out some hard truths about the future of POE1.

Like any business they want new people buying the new product. They don't want people buying the old product.
poe1 is what got them rich. pumping out fresh leagues every 3 months is how they made all the money to be able to afford this new project...if they think that this new niche game that only appeals to a certain group of players will make them as much money as poe1 did then good luck to them. and yes i know they made a ton of money selling EA keys but that was before people could try the game and see how it is...

abandoning poe1 would be such a huge financial mistake...but they are rich now so maybe they dont care

If I had known before what Poe 2 is, I would never have paid for it. I want to support Poe 1, not Poe 2, if it’s still boring and slow as it is.

And when I talk about its boring aspect, I’m not referring to the lack of content but to its mechanics themselves.

Yeah if I had known poe2 was going to be so bad and vastly different from poe1 I would have never bought EA. They are going to piss a bunch of people off if poe1 is discontinued
It's dead Jim.
The future is now, old man.

We are running all around with 3 builds on crappy map layouts, without citadels, without defensive layers or loot.... just to hunt yellow rare monsters.

Can't you see the "Vision"?

+1 for op post, please GGG clarify the futur of PoE1.
I'll not play PoE2 like many other veteran until some serious changes are made, and i really doubt that you'll do it.
Don't expect any financial support until then.

games can be difficult and players will love it, but games that frustrate simply make players quit. 3.26 When?

Please no. Just one more league! But actually I’m coping that poe1 will continue to get support and content for the foreseeable future. I mean they have to right? Poe1 and poe2 are polar opposites. They piss off a huge portion of their player base. #coping
